SCOTTISH HEALTH AND SAFETY REVITALISERS FORUM

Vision:

Safer, healthier workplaces throughout Scotland.

Purpose:

To help deliver ‘Revitalising Health and Safety’ (RHS) and ‘Securing Health Together’ (SH2) actions in a Scottish context.

Method:

Be inclusive of all who have similar or linked objectives, including wider UK initiatives where appropriate;

Share and learn from each other, but not conflict with existing activities and programmes;

Identify gaps in current activities and programmes, working creatively with others to fill them;

Capture, publicise and promote good practices, especially exemplars for employment sectors with the greatest need for improvement;

Stimulate greater awareness of workplace health and safety across Scotland and throughout the Scottish Executive.

Free membership is open to all organisations which support the Vision, Purpose and Method. We encourage your active participation.

Finance:

Financial contributions are welcome, but especially from organisations involved with the 8 priority sectors and hazards identified by the Health and Safety Commission.

Falls from Height
Musculoskeletal disorders
Stress
Workplace Transport
Slips/Trips in the local authority enforced sector.
