Saint John, New Brunswick
I was born here in Saint John, New Brunswick, and with the exception
of my years at the University of New Brunswick and Saint Thomas University,
I have lived here all of my life. Saint John is a great place to live.
It is a city with a long and interesting heritage. The Trinity
Royal area of Saint John contains buildings that are all more than
one hundred years old. So if you love antiquities and architecture, come
and visit our gargoyles. Saturday afternoons you can usually find me at
the Old
City Market buying fresh fruits and veggies from Pete's Frootique,
havarti with dill from Raymond's, and usually an ice cream from Slocum
and Ferris. In the summer I like to spend my days uptown
having Tim Horton's coffee in King Square, or the Loyalist Burial Ground.
Sometimes you can find me attending performances at the Imperial Theater.
(I loved Phyllis Diller's show) In the winter time, people can enjoy sliding,
skating, skiing, or sleigh riding at Rockwood
Park. Personally, I usually hibernate during the winter, since my idea
of outdoor activity is putting out the trash.
