Ernesto Dmitruk was born in September,1960. He
studied guitar with Pino Marrone, James Tobias, Francisco Rivero
y Ricardo Palazzo Anna, all of them well reputed local
instructors. He took harmony and composition lessons with Manolo
Juarez (famous composer and pianist). He attend to Berklee
College of Music seminars in Buenos Aires with instructor Jim
Kelly, in wich he got a scholarship to continue with his studies
in Boston. He gives guitar lessons since he was 19 , he was a
columnist for the"EL musiquero" (a popular music
magazine). At the present time he is in charge of the rhythm
guitar and chord melody department of the ITMC (Instituto
Tecnológico de Música Contemporánea), a local filial of the
Musicians Institute of Los Angeles, California. He played and
recorded with some of the most important fusion bands of Buenos
Aires such as Meridiano, Touch, El Trueno, Marakamidi, La banda
'86, Siembra, etc. He also has recorded in contemporary Tango
produccion like “Tango Libre” of the composer Hugo
Potenza. In the professional field he performed and recorded with
renowned local pop and rock stars (Silvina Garré, Lito Vitale,
Eddie Sierra, Jose Velez, Andrea Serri, Ignacio Copani, Manuel
Wizt, Maria Rosa Yorio, Alejandro Lerner , Juan Carlos Baglietto,
etc.). He is an specialist in sequencers, synth programming and
Midi-Guitar synth. Over the last eight years he is a member of
Sergio Denis band (one of the most popular singers in Argentina)
with whom he did numerous shows all across the country as well as
in the most important theatres and stadiums of Buenos Aires (Luna
Park, Teatro Opera, Teatro Gran Rex, etc.). He also recorded five
albums with him and was the producer of two of them. Presenly he
is dedicated to the composition of the music for his band focused
in Argentinian Contemporary Folk music.
