Edmondia: but yes, gotta warplan in the morning
EnsTren: warplan for what?
Edmondia: how to deal with the media
Edmondia: she hasn't released the tapes yet, I don't think
EnsTren: I think the first seven
EnsTren: when she was put into the the closet
Edmondia: yeah
EnsTren: seven, showing that no one let her out/talked to/fed/watered her until a week later
Edmondia: mmhmm
Edmondia: not presenting any statements, I don't think
Edmondia: staying holed up in the mansion for the weekend, I'd wager
Edmondia: Seto dragging Seth away from the windows
Edmondia: "You can't let them see you, you idiot!"
Edmondia: "And put on a shirt!"
Edmondia: "And stop bending over when you drop things!"
EnsTren: why am I seeing Seto hitting him with a plushie BEWD?
Edmondia: 'cause it's fun?
Edmondia: and Seth-abuse is funny?
EnsTren: in my head Seto's...perching on things
EnsTren: you know, not sitting but crouching, knees together and usually on the edge of things
Edmondia: on what?
EnsTren: chairs
Edmondia: Seth's poking her to see if she'll fall off
EnsTren: she doesn't
Edmondia: he's still poking her
EnsTren: she hit him with the plush
Edmondia: he's tickling her
EnsTren: "Stoppit or I won't play with you anymore!"
Edmondia: "...you ruin all my fun."
EnsTren: random: Seto likes the idea of power, so she tries hard to achive and adapt to it quickly, and sexuality is turning from something that takes power away from her into something that empowers her.
Edmondia: yes
Edmondia: although I still can't imagine her putting up with boys getting all blushy around her
EnsTren: so throw things at them
Edmondia: she's not ready to fuck with their minds yet
EnsTren: how would she do that?
Edmondia: dunno
Edmondia: but it seems like something she would do
Edmondia: just have amusing mental images of Seth devouring donuts
EnsTren: I had a flashback to the simpson's ep with the timemachine toaster
Edmondia: never seen it
EnsTren: well in one time he goes back to the dinosaurs and topples them, by accident, like dominos
EnsTren: in the present, he's rich, well to do, but no dounuts
EnsTren: he screams and runs away and it starts raining
EnsTren: doughnuts
EnsTren: what kind of statements will seto be making?
Edmondia: not sure
Edmondia: "Fuck off" is pretty impolitic, after all
EnsTren: or just let the tapes speak for themselves
Edmondia: ...dragged out of class the next week to see guidance counselors, do you think?
EnsTren: ...not if she's weilding the breifcase of doom
Edmondia: does she bring that to class or not? I can't remember...
EnsTren: She might start'
Edmondia: a lot of bug-eyed looks from classmates
EnsTren: ...until she whacks someone
Edmondia: then a lot of mildly unsettled looks
Edmondia: Wall firmly in place, methinks
Edmondia: a lot of speculation and gossip regarding that, as well
EnsTren: sexual speculation
Edmondia: Seth having spaz fits
EnsTren: "NO ONE'S HAVING AN ORGY WITH MY HIKARI!"
EnsTren: "MY HIKARI IS NOT A CHICK WITH A DICK!"
EnsTren: "MY HIKARI DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A MAN!"
"Uh...Yami, I do."

Edmondia: "You do not!"
EnsTren: "Yami, I passed as one my entire life, I do look like a boy."
Edmondia: "Do not."
EnsTren: She poked him.
Edmondia: He pinched her thigh. "I've seen you naked, you do not."
EnsTren: "They see me dressed, I do too."
Edmondia: "You have a much cuter butt than any boy I've ever seen."
EnsTren: "Why do you think I wear those coats?"
Edmondia: "Heh." He leaned down and stole a kiss. "You do not look like a boy."
EnsTren: She pouted.
Edmondia: "Are you upset that I don't think you look like a boy?"
EnsTren: "...Ah... I think so."
Edmondia: He gave her an extremely blank look. "You think you're upset that I think you don't look like a boy."
EnsTren: "That you don't see me as one. There is a difference."
Edmondia: "...why are you upset about that?"
EnsTren: "...I don't want to be weak in your eyes."
Edmondia: "...you never have been, beloved, I thought you knew that."
EnsTren: "I cracked, I was taken by darkness that wasn't yours, that was just filth."
Edmondia: He sighed. "You were hurt, darling - but never weak."
EnsTren: "I was broken. If I had been a boy I wouldn't have broken."
Edmondia: "That's ridiculous."
EnsTren: "If I had been a boy he wouldn't have done as bad things to me and I wouldn't have broken."
Edmondia: "Again, ridiculous. He would have hurt you no matter what you were."
EnsTren: "He wouldn't have been as hard on me."
EnsTren: "So I wouldn't have broken."
Edmondia: "You don't know that for certain."
EnsTren: "Boys are preferable to females," that was something he had always said to her, and in her domain of computers and business and cards she saw things that supported that statement everywhere she turned.
Edmondia: He caught her chin and lifted her face to his own. "How can you say that? Has this century of yours taught you nothing?"
EnsTren: "How many women are there at the business levels I'm at? How many programmers? How many designers and engineers? And how many Duelists? Mai-chan's the best woman duelist in the world!"
Edmondia: "How many women have the opportunity to become so? Their mere existance at your level should tell you something, my light."
EnsTren: "It's because everyone thought I was a boy. Now they know I'm female."
Edmondia: "And that makes you all the more extraordinary, does it not?"
EnsTren: (hmn...intresting, seto's making a distiction between female and woman, and she's not a woman in her own eyes)
EnsTren: "It means I cheated."
Edmondia: "It means, beloved, that you are stronger than anyone possibly imagined."
EnsTren: "I cheated."
Edmondia: "How?"
EnsTren: "I deceived everyone."
Edmondia: "Not by choice. And your actions are still your own."
EnsTren: "I could have stopped taking the horomones but I didn't, and maybe they changed me, or made me develop different so I'm more like a boy in my skull than a girl."
Edmondia: "Beloved. You are the most extraordinary woman I know of - and you are a woman."
EnsTren: "...Don't call me that."
Edmondia: "What?"
EnsTren: "A woman, I'm not. It insults women to call me that."
Edmondia: "...you insult yourself by calling yourself otherwise."
EnsTren: "I'm a boy, but never a man and never a male."
Edmondia: "My light," he sighed, trailing his fingers through her hair, "I would not call you a boy by any stretch of the imagination."
EnsTren: She leaned away from his hand, subtle shifting of her weight becoming more. Was she that deeply shamed by her sex?
Edmondia: "...why do you think so lowly of yourself? It seems an odd thing to accuse a woman of misogyny, sweet light."
EnsTren: "I don't hate females, I am simply over aware of the glass ceiling."
Edmondia: "You seem to have broken through it, dear light, as have your friends with little difficulty."
EnsTren: "I snuck past, and I don't have friends."
Edmondia: "Mai-chan wouldn't like to hear you say that, pretty light, and you would've smashed through on your own."
EnsTren: "Mai-chan... is the exception, not the rule. And we don't know that do we?"
Edmondia: He smiled serenely at her. "The only one who doubts you is yourself, my light."
EnsTren: The look she fixed him with was sour and bitter all at once and terribly terribly hollow.
Edmondia: His smile faded, and he reached for her fingertips and raised them to his lips. "Tell me, beloved, what must I do to convince you of how wonderful you truly are?"
EnsTren: She pulled her head away, breaking the contact between them. "I dislike disllusions"
Edmondia: He sighed and raked a hand through his hair. "I'm glad you value my opinion so highly, my love."
EnsTren: "And what of my opinion of myself? Why do you always seek to proove me wrong if my belief contends with yours."
Edmondia: "Because I cannot believe anything so poorly of you."
EnsTren: "I've known myself for longer than you have."
Edmondia: "I know your soul and your light better than you ever can."
EnsTren: "And of the darkness? The tarnish? What was banished when your cousin found my soul so filthy he had to break it apart to clean it?"
Edmondia: "Banished for a reason, my love - it was not yours, and I have seen your nightmares as surely as you have seen my own."
EnsTren: "You've seen some of mine."
EnsTren: "I don't sleep much if you haven't noticed."
Edmondia: He sighed. "I have, and it's not due to lack of trying on my part."
EnsTren: She adverted her eyes. Fear of him was what kept her awake some nights.
Edmondia: Even if he had apologized.
EnsTren: Things like that didn't just go away like mist burnt away by morning light.
Edmondia: Sometimes she lay awake while dawn crept over the horizon and watched him while he slept... he didn't seem quite as scary, then, as he did in the depths of the night.
EnsTren: Because he reminded her of Mokuba while he slept. And if he was sleeping he could not pounce upon her.
Edmondia: Just because he had promised... just because he was always so very careful with her... sometimes he was still frightening.
EnsTren: Because he wanted to... do dirty bloody things to her.
Edmondia: Even if sometimes she wanted him so much...
EnsTren: That made her want to throw up, and sometimes she did if she couldn't keep the bile down.
Edmondia: She knew he was in love with her. She knew he would never press her for too much, not again - she knew exactly how to control him.
EnsTren: But... he could just choose to be loosed of his bonds. She didn't have anything to force him with. Even her light... Light radiates, all he needed to do was touch her or force his way into her soul room.
Edmondia: ...what if he left her?
EnsTren: No, he needed her light, so he would not be able to stray long or far.
EnsTren: What made her nervous was that everything tangible could be taken from her. It was his will that kept it from happening.
EnsTren: And she placed very little trust in his will.
Edmondia: ...what of his devotion? It was sweet, certainly, but...
EnsTren: She didn't trust it, he had proven... she didn't know what exactly he had proven or disproven, but that deal. He took what he wanted with only a modicum of her own cooperation.
Edmondia: What about him could she trust?
EnsTren: That he wanted her.
Edmondia: ...but there were prettier girls than she would ever be who would not turn down his affections...
EnsTren: Great...now she felt even more... messed up? Deficient? Farther away? Not normal?
Edmondia: Things would be so much easier if he weren't so... so pretty!
Edmondia: That way nobody else would want him.
EnsTren: But it also made her need him, or feel like she needed him.
Edmondia: She didn't want to need him.
EnsTren: She didn't want to need anyone.
EnsTren: Or anything.
Edmondia: But he was... so so so pretty...
EnsTren: But he thought she was pretty too.
Edmondia: Well... he was slightly insane, after all.
EnsTren: Maybe more than that. Yugi's other acted dark, hers did not.
EnsTren: Malik's and Ryou's others... acted dark and occasionally as happy as hers.
Edmondia: ...why was he always so gentle and sweet?
EnsTren: Maybe he was crazier than all of them?
Edmondia: She gave him a quiet glance, carefully hidden beneath her bangs and lashes. He didn't look crazy...
EnsTren: ...When in doubt sometimes being blunt helped greatly.
EnsTren: "Seth?"
Edmondia: He blinked those too-long lashes at her lazily. "Hmn?"
EnsTren: "You're a yami, right?"
Edmondia: "As far as I know, yes."
EnsTren: "Why don't you act dark then?"
Edmondia: Another blink. "You haven't let me out to play."
EnsTren: "You're happy and bouncy."
Edmondia: "Would you rather I be moody and antisocial?"
EnsTren: "I don't know, but why are you this way and not another way?"
Edmondia: "...I was never as crazy as Atemu to begin with," he murmured softly, eyes distant, "And... Malik... and... I didn't get to you in time."
EnsTren: "...Eh?"
Edmondia: He shrugged one shoulder. "By the time I reached you, there was no one left to kill."
EnsTren: "That doesn't explain it though."
Edmondia: Another shrug. "...I don't entirely understand it myself. Perhaps... because of the priesthood? And you... you were strong enough without me - you didn't need me to slaughter your enemies for you."
EnsTren: He brows furrowed as she sat down. It was cute and made him want to kiss her, but then, he always wanted to kiss her. "I don't understand"
Edmondia: He knelt at her feet and folded his arms over her lap. "What don't you understand?"
EnsTren: "How does... my need, or the priesthood have anything to do with it, or my so called strength?"
Edmondia: "I exist for the sole purpose of keeping you safe. My magics are meant to defend only you - and when you have no need of defense, I have little need of the Shadows, love me though they may. And... as a priest, I learned to train myself to keep the Darkness still - it would be ill-advised for the Shadows to call for me in the middle of rites to Ra, after all. And you..." he sighed, "You, my beloved, have the strength of will to master your magics on your own. You do not need me."
EnsTren: "What about... the others then?"
Edmondia: He smiled softly. "The thief's omote needs him to keep him sane. Yugi needs Atemu to love him and support him unconditionally. Malik... does not have a proper yami."
EnsTren: She rubbed her forehead with the heel of her hand. "It's because I took the darkness into me then?"
Edmondia: He tilted his head. "Perhaps... or perhaps you simply do not need me."
EnsTren: "That does not make logical sence. You need me, you are my other half, therefore I need you."
Edmondia: "Tell me, then, beloved - why would you need me?"
Edmondia: "What can I possibly give you that you haven't already found for yourself?"
EnsTren: "...I would have stayed the way I was were it not for you. And when Mokuba grows up..."
Edmondia: He stared at her solemnly. "All you needed was for someone to be stubborn enough to love you, my light. I was merely... convenient."
EnsTren: "Stubborn, yes, but who could I... Can you imagine me letting any other man touch me?"
Edmondia: He bit his lip, dark eyes flooding with pain. "In my nightmares, yes, that is exactly what I see."
EnsTren: "Can you honestly see me being able to tolerate it?"
Edmondia: "You can tolerate me, who wronged you more than any other being on this earth."
EnsTren: "Because I want to tolerate you."
Edmondia: "You have no reason to, beloved, and there are many more worthy than I you could choose."
EnsTren: She reached and took his hand in her own, pressed and slide so their palms matched up perfectly.
Edmondia: He looked at her quietly, solemn-eyed and unsmiling.
EnsTren: "You look like me, a bit darker, yes, taller, yes, but exactly how I imagined others seeing me, how I saw myself and how I wished I was."
Edmondia: He blinked rapidly, eyes widening just a little in surprise.
EnsTren: "And this... this is bad enough. But another with whom I have no physical characteristics in common?"
EnsTren: "With one I could not feel and hear in my own mind?"
Edmondia: His expression softened.
Edmondia: "...I do love you, my light."
EnsTren: She smiled at him and she closed her hand, linking their hands together, her free hand coming up and covering their knuckles. "I would not be able to tolerate a kiss from another. Because they would always be strangers."
Edmondia: He smiled for her then, shy and radiant and beautiful.
EnsTren: She pulled him to sit next to her and pressed close to him like a cat in greeting.
Edmondia: His arms slid around her, and he hid his face in the soft fall of her hair. I do love you, my Hathor...
EnsTren: Love you mry.
Edmondia: Even if loving him was strange and frightening and bewildering...
EnsTren: And so perfect in just as many ways.
Edmondia: Just like him.
Edmondia: (bed)
EnsTren: (nai)
Edmondia: (nai *huggle*)
