BYLAWS

1. SKIDOME CLUB IS OPEN TO ALL ADULTS & CHILDREN REGARDLESS OF AGE, RACE, RELIGION, PHYSICAL ABILITY OR BELIEFS.  IT IS EXPECTED THAT ALL MEMBERS TREAT EACH OTHER IN A RESPECTFUL MANNER. VERBAL OR PHYSICAL ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

2. SKIDOME CLUB HAS NO DUES  so membership is free .  TO JOIN SKIDOME YOU MUST PURCHASE A SKI LIBERTY NIGHT CLUB CARD THROUGH THE SKIDOME SKI & SNOWBOARD CLUB.

3. SKIDOME CLUB DOES NOT ARRANGE TRIPS.  WE ENCOURAGE ALL MEMBERS TO  SHARE RIDES IF POSSIBLE.   Group trips can be arranged through Blue Ridge Ski Council and National Ski Council Federation .     

4. SKIDOME CLUB WILL MEET ONCE PER YEAR, IN THE FALL, FOR CLUB INFORMATION.     SCHEDULE WILL BE POSTED.

5. THE PURPOSE OF THE SKIDOME CLUB IS TO PROMOTE NIGHT SKIING/BOARDING AT SKI LIBERTY, ROUNDTOP , & WHITETAIL.  TO PROMOTE SAFETY AND CONSIDERATION WHILE SKIING AND BOARDING. TO SAVE MONEY FOR MEMBERS COMPARED TO REGULAR RATES.

6. SKIDOME CLUB MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO ABIDE BY ALL SKI LIBERTY, ROUNDTOP and WHITETAIL RULES AND REGULATIONS INCLUDING THE CODE OF CONDUCT.

7. SKIDOME CLUB MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO ABIDE BY THE SKIERS CODE RESTATED BELOW.                     
8. Your Responsibility Code
   
   1.Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
   2.People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
   3.You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
   4.Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
   5.Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
   6.Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
   7.Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.
   
   
9. SKIDOME CLUB MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO ABIDE BY THE CODE OF CONDUCT RESTATED BELOW.
   1. Be courteous and polite to other guests and employees at all times.
   2. Ski/Board in a safe responsible manner
   3. Don't Ski/Board fast or in a reckless manner
   4. Observe all posted signs
   5. Do not use foul or offensive language, comments, or gestures
   6. Do not throw snowballs or other items at any time or place, including from lifts or lift lines.

    

10. SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING LIKE ANY OTHER SPORT CAN CAUSE INJURY AND / OR POSSIBLE DEATH. BY JOINING THE SKIDOME CLUB YOU ACCEPT ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS SKIDOME SKI & SNOWBOARD CLUB AND WILLIAM E. FOWLER III.
