The
Name Game
This exercise can be used to help
students learn each other's names and to foster positive feelings towards
classmates. First the class sits in a circle. The teacher is responsible
for starting the dialogue by saying, "I am Mrs. Williamson and I like to
pet my dogs." The next person must add his/her name as well as something
s/he is good at or likes to do. For example, "I am a football playing Adam
and that's Mrs. Williamson and she likes to pet her dogs." Each person
should add something that s/he is good at or likes to do along with all
the others comments.
