The benefits of using learning style in the classroom far outweigh the risks but teachers must establish firm ground rules that even the youngest students can understand. List ground rules and display them for all to see. Theachers should emphasize to students that using learning styles preferences includes the use of certain privileges and that disregarding rules will result in losing those privileges.
