Very glad to see your e-mail.     

　
I was "astonished" at your early retirement when Randy told about it .....(Uncle Sam should work harder!).
However at 50 years old, one may feel "tired" or "earned too-muh already"(like Alex, you),so there are aroud 10 classmates decided an earlier retirement, or semi-retirement.....like Yeh Din-po, Chen Shen-yen, Wu Hwei-huang, Hwang Wu-liang, Lai Shang-hsien, Hsiao Kuo-jen, Lee Guei-wu, Huang Fang-liang.....
 
I still work, but much less concentrated than before. Comparing with you, we dont have sunshine & cute bikinists
on beach like California which seems very helpful for "oldies"??

Inside Out: New Chinese Art
This exhibition, which the New York Times called "a benchmark achievement", ran from September 15, 1998 through January 3, 1999 and now travels for several years to San Francisco, Mexico and elsewhere. Inside Out presented the dynamic new art being produced by artists in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and by selected artists who emigrated to the West in the late 1980s'" .....    ("亞洲協會"網頁摘錄)

美國著名的"亞洲協會"由1998年9月到2000年10月間在美國/墨西哥/澳洲/日本/亞洲各地辦了一個"Inside Out"新中國藝術大展, 邀請數十位中國/台灣/香港藝術家參展.....此展被紐約時報譽之為"標竿成就"...!

其中有一幅"吳天章"所繪的"春宵夢"亦在展出作品之內.(作品如上).

也許你樂意和我們分享藝術之喜悅  -- --這幅圖畫是"亞洲協會"正式向壯畯怑仵i的,作品終於在今年12月11日歸還.

(我們是在1997年向吳天章這位藝術家購得這件作品的..很炫吧 !)
