I heard that Ong Min-Yee's wife was planning for a Canada reunion trip for 2001.  How is the progress?  I have the following suggestions:

1.      Since we are only 7 to 8 months away from the summer of 2001, it may not be easy to get all the hotel rooms reserved in the Canada Banff National Park at this time (they have limited hotel spaces).  Unless you can find some Taiwan travel agents who already booked a block of rooms for the 2001 summer session at the Banff National Park.
The possible sites for easy finding of enough hotel rooms are: Hawaii, Los Angles, south coast of San Francisco bay area, and Taiwan.

2.      Don't choose 6/21 thru 7/4/2001 as the reunion period.  Alex Hsu and my family (possible several other Chiao Tung alumni) already scheduled an European cruise trip during that period. July 8 thru end of August will be my available time for reunion.

3.      I just organized a World CTUAA Reunion in June this year.  Even though the event is over, I am still busy working on the event record book.  I'll go back to Taiwan in December, meeting with Principal Chang and the Alumni Voice magazine editor at Hsinchu, discussing about the book editing and printing matters.  I'll be tied up for at least another several months until this job is completed.  So I am not able to organize the 30-year reunion for next year.  But I'll do my best to support this event.
