Terry's bday. couldn't decide whether i should go to the dinner or not. have an essay due tmr and i have done none. by the time phyllis is in sugarland i only finished the intro. but i still went cos they are going to the restautant that has my favorite paking duck.
tammy even got the壽包for her契爺﹐拒其實都唔係好老姐﹐洗唔洗買拳頭甘大既壽包呀﹗

竟然唔洗交篇paper﹐早知琴晚唔洗做得甘辛苦﹐仲晒錢走去print﹐sigh!!!

本來諗住留係屋企讀書﹐點知發現全屋都會充滿細路﹐當然要找機會離開啦﹐去檸檬屋企﹐直到十二點先走﹐ 都讀到幾個chapter啦﹐算唔錯

晏晝要去覆診﹐又要開會﹐點知最後會開唔成﹐白白浪費左一個下午﹐好開心個TB test係negative﹐唔洗去照肺﹗

比Abreen睇份paper﹐原來成日than寫成then﹐好在睇睇唧
努力於HIST篇essay﹐寫左甘多都唔知寫左D乜﹐星期三就考啦﹐最憎HIST考Essays架勒﹐希望之前D book review高分啦﹐ 等我個essay衰左都唔會好hurt嘛

上最後一個HIST class﹐都係好悶﹐繼續找essays D key points
發現UT要等到8/22先可以register. 死啦﹐到時實無class有位啦﹐注定要讀立圾class﹐希望唔好衰啦﹗

Aug. 7

wrote my hist essays for 2 hours. my hand was so tired! forgot one whole event of progressive movement! didn't know what i have written. but glad to know that my book reviews and bibliography got full marks. i don't think he really read them tho.
promised to pay nathan and jeff for a lunch for the gas fee. nathan chose Whataburger. that's not a nice restaurant. never go there again!

ordered my computer parts finally. hopefully they will arrive on monday.
watched haan錢家族﹐係香港無人陪我睇﹐竟然返到黎借到VCD黎睇﹐哈哈﹗

HIST got an A! surprise! had dinner at superstar. sat with christina. nice chat with her.
didn't want to go to the HCC seminar. so bored.
went to have drink with some of them after that. didn't go home till 12. tired.

leap of faith: you can't prove that a person love u 100%, when u think that u trust him enough to committ your life to him, u jump from 50% or 70% to 100%. that's the leap of faith. same as religion, u cannot prove 100% that God exist. but when u believe enough to accept Him, u jump from that certain percent to 100%. that's the leap of faith

Clarance also said Signs is only an okay movie. is it really that bad?

去踩冰﹐夠十個人﹐可以比group rate﹐每人平左個半﹐credit card被declined, 好瘀﹗醒唔起今個月用左錢買電腦同睇醫生。 第一次踩三個幾鐘﹐腳都軟﹐跟住去食港臺茶餐廳﹐新開﹐手腳有D亂﹐但機本上食物唔錯﹐夜晚去睇戲﹐ 去到門口先知上網check D時間全部錯晒﹐最後睇8:05pm既Signs﹐都係有D聽唔明﹐亦有D部份好驚﹐ 但都get到拒所帶出既意思: nothing is coincidence. 戲裡面個細路女好可愛。 I guess Tammy因為聽唔明所以覺得悶。The Six Sense既作者﹐果然無令我失望。

cell phone爆mins﹐好耐未試過了﹐上個月D預算好唔掂﹐咩都爆晒﹐究竟我搞乜鬼﹖
found out that in BestBuy my Ethenet card costs only $5 while i paid for $15 online. another harddisk costs the same as the one I got and have 20MB more then mine. i could have saved more then $80.
Discon said he would give his RAM to my uncle for free while i have to take the extra RAM that is useless to his computer. I have to also pay for the video card and the floppy and CD-ROM drive. that's $40 more. and I have to buy another case also. sigh!!!!
need to look for cheap health insurance asap.

went to have dinner at pastor's house. felt kinda awkward. had bible study with the adults. pastor has really nice tea for us. he got a big can of peanuts and they are good. i better go buy some for Austin also.
an uncle said i better be the top ones in UT CS or else don't dare getting a job when i graduate. i don't know if i can do that in UT. they are all so smart!

其他日子可以唔寫﹐但first day of school 點可以skip? well, i went to the building of my first class. so glad that i walked around once already yesterday becos by the time i arrived RLM, the building of my first class, i realized that i forgot to bring the campus map and my schedule. i thought, that's so great! now i don't know where my class is at, i am not sure if the building is the right one. and i don't have anything with me. so glad that there is a library on the ground floor of RLM. i went in and check my UT account and found my schedule and kinda looked for the location of my other classes. i am still early for my class. that's my linear algebra class and the teacher is french. he has a weird accent. he starts teaching right after telling us the website of this class. we got off 10 mins b4 10 and i have to rush to my next class at 10. i went the long way cos i don't know exactly where the building is at. that's my CS class. it's huge! i felt like sitting in 補習社﹐ but the prof. seems pretty friendly and easy.
there is another class at 6 so i went to have lunch at texas union. i had a chicken ceasar. haven't eaten vegetables for a long time. then i went back to my room for the afternoon till 6. my gov class at 6 seems difficult. the professor and the TA are not here. they went to the conference. a guy came to distribute the syllabus. i found out that we will have 3 in-class and 1 take-home essay. this class is going to be real hard. i better drop it b4 it's too late. so i went home and check what class i should take to subtitute that. all the classes that i could take are closed. my roommate, ellen, recommended me to take EDP. it's a class to teach us how to study and it's an easy A. well, i added that and we'll see how it is like by friday.
