this trip passed so fast. and i don't think i did a lot. kinda mo liu and diasppointed in hawaii.
First Day(5/31)
Arrived Hawaii at around 2:30pm. we were sitting in the middle of the plane so we couldn't see anything from any window.
we were so disappointed, especially when i found out some people having window seats are not even take that opportunity to look at the scenery outside.
man! we should have traded seats? we went to a hotel right away. the tour guide who picked us up speak only manderin. he didn't
really consider saying everything again in English. bad impression on him. Settled down and went out to walk to the Ala Moana
Shopping Center. Winnie told us there are many different kinds of food there. We had Japanese Ramen. After that we agree to take
the bus back to Waikiki. We went to the international marketplace to shop around. there are hawkers selling all the cute stuffs for tourists.
we 'talk price' (basically i did) and got 2 dolphin crystals and a dolphin ball. melinda got some necklaces. we walked back to the hotel to get
ready for next day's half-day local tour.
Second Day(6/1)
finally there is a tour guide that know cantanese. and we were joined 4 'gung gung por por' who speak cantonese also. so the whole tour is basically
conducted in cantonese. we went to pearl harbor to take a look at the only visible wreckage in the pearl harbor, the battleship USS Arizona.
after that we had a driving tour to the city. we can't get off the car except at the palace, which we stay for less then 5 minutes for pictures.
at the end we went to a jewelery store to take a look at the jewels that are from hawaii.
in the afternoon we were struggling to find out what to eat. melinda wanted to eat McDonald. me and rosalie refused! what's the
point of coming to hawaii if we are eating in McDonald. me and rosalie went to a japanese restaurant to eat noodles again.
after that we just lay on our bed in the hotel thinking where to go. uncle kenny thought we can go ride those trollies around the
waikiki area. we stand outside the hotel at the bus stop and no trolly comes after more then 15 mins. i suggested start walking and
eventually we walked to the beach. we didn't have our bathing suit with us so we walked back to the hotel to get change and then walked out again.
we were relaxing and leting the wave bring us back and forth. melinda was so scared she didn't want to come out with us to deeper place.
uncle kenny didn't swim and just stood on the beach waiting for us. we left the beach at 6 and went back to take showers. and
uncle kenny suggested going to Denny's, which we also have in houston, for dinner. after dinner we went back to international marketplace
and did our final shopping. i got some necklacks and a tanktop. me and rosalie wanted to get a twin pair of shorts but becos tat girl
refused to lower the price we just gave up. we were so tired so we just walk back and lay on our bed doing nothing.
we felt asleep and i woke up at 3 realizing the lights and TV are still on.
Third Day(6/2)
Jun. 3
arrived late at night becos the plane got delayed for half an hour. uncle 2 and dad and mom came to pick us up.
they said i look like an indian or a lion. i take it as an insult. better go get a hair cut soon.
slept with my mom. i kept talking till i think maybe 3am. i know i shouldn't but i just can't help it. u know, haven't talked that much
for 2 years. poor mom that she has to wake up at 6 the next day.
Jun. 4
woke up at 7 and couldn't sleep again becos of the noises downstair. i m just not used to my house.
went to meet my mom for lunch. she told me to go to mongkok KCR station thru MTR to kowloon tong and i got lost in kowloon tong
KCR station. i went to the law woo direction as i used to go to shatin b4 and then realized that it was the wrong way. so i had
to go back down to the opposite side. i like MTR better cos i don't have to go up and down if i get to the wrong way.
went to eat sushi with my mom and her co-workers. after that we went to garden street and got some clothes.
at night we went to choi wan planning to have sheung hai food but realized that the restaurant was closed down. so we went to
another restaurant instead. we had crabs, oysters, roasted duck. haven't eaten these good food for a long time! haven't eaten with
the family for a long long time. really had a good time.
Jun. 5
went to have lunch at grandma's house. and then went out to mongkok with auntie 5 to meet fuwing at 2:30.
haven't seen her for so long and she has changed a lot. we walked to many places. according to her we went to:

旺角真係好多人好污糟(both 空氣 & 周圍)，not really enjoy walking around there in the summer days. my face is so dirty after staying outside the whole day.
got lost at mongkok MTR station again! went to the wrong platform becos of the changed of the final station of the kwuntong line. i thought i was going towards quarry bay.
forgot that it has extended to northpoint.
Jun. 6
met mom and went to west kowloon in cheung sha wan with rosalie to get my new ID. the guy who took the picture was so nice and i could even
take the picture twice. couldn't wear glasses tho. and i don't think my picture is tat good. but feel bad asking to take it again so just leave it like that.
after that we went to ming jeung japanese restaurant to eat sushi buffet for lunch(even tho it was almost 4 already). after that
rosalie left to meet her dad in chai wan and me and mom went to get the 'mainland passport' and then to visit grandma. after that
we went to park n' shop and shop for food that i like using $300+. hehe...becos of my arrival i could ask to buy whatever i want.
Jun. 7
suppose to go to mongkok with rosalie but after lunch mom suggested going to kwun tong so we went there instead. got a jeans and some more t-shirts.
almost got a dress but realize that i will never wear that. had dinner there and then went home.
went to nip's dorm to sleepover. i got allegy over there. sneeze all night. only talked for a while cos she has to chat with her sweety on the phone.
i felt asleep around 3am while listening to her.
Jun. 8
still sneezed the whole day until fuwing is here and then we went to ='s dorm and sit for awhile b4 going to westcentral for snack. (we didn't eat lunch).
i had french toast and cold milk tea. and then me and fuwing went to olympic station to meet the other friends for dinner.
we arrived an hour earlier so we walked around. there were so many people standing/sitting in front of the big screen TV in the shopping center
and whenever we walked by there was always something exciting to make them shout.
later 6 of us went bowling and i scored 101. everybody is different. my last impression was when they are still in their uniform.
now they are all in college. they are all ladies, not girls anymore. everybody but me, who doesn't care about those make-up
and dressing and all that! they are all so distanced from my life. everything is not the same anymore. i had nothing to
say at the dining table of that Thai restaurant. not any common interests that can lead to conversation with them.
went to hunghom糖水鋪『芝麻綠豆』食芝麻蛋白燉奶, it was good and i bought another bowl for my family. i told everybody not to eat it till mom is back
but was so disappointed when mom told me she was too full to eat any. i tried my best to stop others from eating and at last she didn't eat any.
well, she told me to put it in the fridge so that she can eat it tomorrow morning. that's better then not eating any at all.
Jun. 9
i was forced to clean my room right after i woke up even tho i was supposed to meet my cousin half an hour later. my mom told her to come
to my house to wait instead of going to the MTR station. it took me more then 4 hours to clean my room and we didn't leave home till 4 something.
sorry to make u wait. it was pouring when we went out to have tea and it didn't stop the whole afternoon.
we went to kowloon bay and i got another messager bag, 2 shirts and some hair clips. and also a DVD for jeffrey. my cousin got me
a bracelace. that bag is so pretty! hehe. but i bet i will get into trouble when my mom finds out i got another one cos i got 3 within a week already!
we went to dinner at san po gong. there are 2 choices: regular dinner or boiling pot buffet. we choose the regular one and pay only half of the pot price,
cos we ordered all the special dishes.
read last year's smcc school magazine. saw all the committee members and realize that among all the friends i m the only one who doesn't have any leadership skill.
they all learned to be leaders in F.6 but i left for US that year and start all over again. there was no way i could be any leader in highschool as a new student.
especially becos i m so not outgoing and didn't really get involved. now i m the only one who doens't know everything.
they told me they are all busy with the clubs in college, and i m the only person with no such experience.
so emotional these days!
Jun. 10
urgent call from auntie 5 asking me to bring melinda to the doctor. she was having a fever. later on her dad called again and said she had no fever anymore.
got woken up earlier for nothing. made noodles for my sister and then later in the afternoon went out with celia to shatin.
went to muji finally and got 2 mechanical pencils, a ruler and a pencil case. went walking around and had snack at 'sin jick arm' and starbuck.
their mocha frapachinno are much smaller then the one in US. and much sweeter also. walked the whole afternoon and got very tired.
had japanese food for dinner. gave celia her pictures and a thank you card from phyllis and realize that phyllis wrote the wrong gift in it.
celia didn't give her the precious moment doll. haha....o...we also went to that snoopyland and i don't feel any excitement in it. it's nothing but a small park.
broke today finally. have to use my ETC today to get money from my bank account. better watch my expenses! =(
went home and found out that i can only have 100 hours to go online in a month. y didn't u tell me earlier so that i wouldn't waste so many hours doing nothing leaving the computer on!
chat with elaine for a long time on the phone. these are what i called good friends. even tho we didn't really keep in touch a lot, we still have a lot to talk to each other.
Jun. 11
stayed home the whole day till evening when elaine came to help my sister with her final. we went to telford afterward for dinner.
we walked around and finally decided to eat at pizza hut. we sat there till 10pm and all ppl around us has gone long b4 we left.
rosalie came to go online and stayed the whole day. mom cooked and so sad i couldn't stay for dinner. but at least i ate some b4 i left.
there were all the good stuffs that i won't eat in houston. slept quite late tonight.
Jun. 12
woke up at 9 cos suppose to yam cha with all the aunties and uncles around 10 at telford again. after that i went back home to get
uncle kenny that fax paper and met them at todai. quite boring when walking with them.
went to fuwing's house in the afternoon to watch england and nigeria's world cup. it was boring. there was no fun. but the
agentina's is quite good. they were held at the same time and fuwing's sister wanted to watch beckham so we had to watch that boring one.
went to that store with all the cute stuffs and became so excited! didn't want to leave. tat's y i was late to dinner at home.
Jun. 13
went to watch 40 days and 40 nights with nip and fuwing at olympic. and then went to causewaybay to muji. and then walked a long
way to the bus stop. i was so tired the whole day. so tired that i lay down right after i got home. went to bed at 9pm but didn't sleep till 10:30.
hend hurts. stomach hurts too!
Jun. 14
washed the floored today. went to steven and david's home and gave their mom their stuffs. she was nice and gave me a set of bags.
went to the dentist at night and hate him afterward. couldn't control my tears. i really take that as an insult!
hope i will never meet that dentist again.
went out to dinner with my mom.
Jun. 15 WINDSURFING DAY FAMILY DINNER
windsurfing is always fun, even tho i suck at the very beginning of the day. couldn't even stand on the board.
but i was happy to be in the water again. and happy to see the coach again. nothing has changed except my fitness.
i got tired real fast. meet some girls of the same age and they all play rigboard(spelling?). cool! so wanna play too!
so tired afterward and went home with my uncle and rosalie. they waited for me cos i have to take a shower first. and then we
went to uncle two's house. i was so tired and my stomach was sick too. didn't eat much and didn't want to move much neither.
Jun. 16 WINDSURFING DAY
raining so hard this morning and woke me up. but by the time i left home it stopped. haha...
second day of windsurfing is always tiring but fun. we get to know each other more and had lunch together. it was raining
so hard again during lunch. but it stopped when we play the whole day. just a little shower sometimes. the wind is stronger today but still
good enough for those new players. to me it's okay. both coach got a board cos the power boat was dead. i used coach jones' 6M sail
for a while and he switched my 4M with joe's 3M. i have no idea why he end up at the coast and couldn't come back out again. it was funny to see
that he almost sinked the board when he stepped on my board. haha....the feeling of 6M is so good. but it was heavy
and i have to give it back to him after a while. it's so glad to see that they all passed. afterward we went to eat desert at moon's at sai kung.
that launin pancake and pudding was so good. and we had fun chatting with ecah other.
Jun. 17
stayed home the whole day. my whole body hurts so bad that i wish it wasn't mine. also got sunburnt on my thine and my neck. my left ears was hurt.
end up at the clinic at night with daddy and mommy. daddy drove me there. the doctor said it was no big deal, nothing serious.
Jun. 18
was suppose to go watch sum of all fears with elaine today. but right when we are arriving kowloon tong i started getting dizzy.
it was the kind that u can't see anything but black dots from your eyes. lead by elaine to those chairs at the platform and sat
for a while. and then went up...dizzy again when going out the gates and the only place i can sit was the photo machine right outside the gates.
i sat there forever till i think i m ready to rush up to the shopping mall. and end up in the bank cos only they have seats.
got an apple juice but end up throwing up. rush to the bathroom twice. once at the japanese restaurant. they don't look so
happy when i rush in to borrow the restroom. rust to the mcdonald and sat there forever again. elaine got me a cup of hot water.
sat there till i m ready to rush down to the taxi station. threw up again right outside the elavator. and felt much better on the taxi.
went home and slept the whole day. didn't mop the floor. just look at mom doing that while i was laying down. couldn't eat any
cold stuffs. they ate ice cream and watermelon in front of me...=(

couldn't pay my HCC tuition online. my credit card got declined! urgently emailed my aunt to pay it for me.
went to lunch with mom at hollywood plaza's pizza hut. we were all so full afterward! and mom presuaded me to walk home with her!
Jun. 20
washed the floor and then had hair cut finally. stayed home and did nothing. called everywhere for windsurfing and got no good news. 唔開心=(
fuwing called me out for dinner. it was nice seeing u'all again. not much change to most of u. haha...we went to TST harbor.
i don't think i have ever been there b4. never realized HK could be that pretty b4. i really seldom went out at night in HK.

went to watch england vs brazil at kaka's home. nice match. wanna watch america vs germany tonight =(
non-AC buses love me so much these days that i rode 3 in 2 days already! 2 of them were crowded with ppl getting off from work.
going to go to whompoa tmr with celia. she said she would bring me to a good beijing/sheunghai restaurant.

woke up at 9 by the parttime maid fong jei. went back to sleep till 10 even tho i felt bad about not letting her come into my room
to clean the windows. went to kowloon KCR to meet celia and then rode the bus to whompoa. ate sheunghai food at that choi lan
food center. she said the siu lung bau was good so we went to try it. afterward we just walked around and i got a can opener and
a snoopy pillow. and then we went to watch twins' new movie. it was definitely for teenagers only. kinda stupid. afterward i brought
celia to 糖水鋪『芝麻綠豆』食芝麻蛋白燉奶. she said it was good and will bring her friends to try next time.
we went home after that and call fuwing to find out what the score of korea vs spain was. it was 0-0 and they have to...(don't know
how to write that in english. will come back later...haha)
promised my sister to go to wongshek with her to see how she windsurfs. but we had a fight at night and i said i would not go tmr.
Jun. 23 WINDSURFING DAY
woke up as if nothing has happened last night. took us a long time to find out where the bus stop for saikung is.
didn't think i would be able to play also but when i went into the office that lovely office staff(and my friend too)
said somebody cancelled the booking so i can rent one. haha! cool! when i was getting the sail a coach of a basic class
ask if i was good enough to play 5M. excuse me? do u know who you are talking to? u think i m a new player? a beginner?
i promised i will not ask for your help if i can't manage it. thanks to another coach who told me to adjust the uphaul which
made my fingers' skin peeled off. it really hurts. finally i could go out. i was 'fung chi din jai'ing for almost an hour before
my sail got loosened. i have to fix it on the water and the strings hurts my hands again. at that time that stupid coach came by
and said how i was doing in an insulting, 'down-looking' voice. i don't like his attitude.
had lunch with my sister's class and talked to jimmy afterward for a while. haven't seen him for a while. he didn't teach sailing for
quite a long time. i didn't know he was back! he recognized my face but not my name. but i will never forget him. he is the first coach
who said i had the protential in sailing. i was only 13 back then. now he told me today was his last day in teaching.
u are leaving again? haha... glad i met u today! or i don't think i will ever meet u again in the near future.
he is starting an education business and will stop teaching sailing classes for a while. he also told me he went to sheunghai to
study an education degree and now he is back to open an education center. don't worry. i m sure i will come by the center before i leave
and next time i will come help u in teaching the kids.
the wind was stronger in the afternoon so i got into the water more then in the morning. i saw my sister and cousin. both of them were
doing pretty good. my sister was losing temper on me about the coach again. she keeps on saying the coach didn't care about her at all.
i had to go back by 3 so i didn't really stay with her for a long time. so nice to be one of those who came back early. the bathroom was empty.
got dress real quick so that i could raise the N-flag at 3:30. and then chat for a while with the lifeguards and the office staff. she
told me how to get the chance to play more b4 i go. she told me to apply on the 26th for back-up enrollment. thanks a lot.
daddy drove in to pick us up. i offered to let jimmy ride with us cos he lives right across the street from us.
dinner at yima house. she cooked a lot of seafood for me! haha...so happy and hungfok!
going to windsurf again next saturday!

stayed home the whole day. so tired. couldn't watch aaron kwok becos of that government thing. watched shaolin soccer instead but
the disk was skipping at the most exciting part! so disappointed. helped my sister with her math in the afternoon. got a call
from fuwing to go out. but sorry. i have to wait till my sister is done doing the math. went online and disappointed to see
my friend put everybody's name on her diary but mine. i was there that night also! i know, as always, i m擔當住不起眼的character. (man! took
me forever to type those chinese. so embarrassed to tell ppl that i m a chinese now in hk using a chinese window and i dunno how to
type chinese.)
mom bought me tofu pudding. so nice. thanks mommy.

Jun. 25 GERMANY WON, KOREA LOST
finally watched sum of all fears with elaine. this time i wasn't sick anymore. this movie is good. after that we sat at the
vietnamnese restaurant for tea. we sat above the ice-skating rink. it was fun looking at the little kids learning how to skate.
the restroom of that restaurant is beautiful! remember to go to the restroom and check each and every toilet when u eat there!

Jun. 26 BRAZIL WON, TURKEY LOST
went to have lunch with uncle john's sister and niece, elsie. and then went to get my ID and went shopping. i m quite satisfied with
my ID picture. it's not permanent anyways. and i don't have to show it to anyone but the HK custom ppl.

mommy is even more sick. she didn't even go to work. me bad! didn't stay home today.
went to sing K with fuwing and nip and her sweetie. actually went to have lunhc and listen to them sing K. = has a good voice.
don't know if it is coinsidence or not. her ex has a good voice also!
this time i think i m doing better in controlling my emotion. i know i m bad at singing. i m trying hard to accept this and
stop being jealous. janice is asking me to go out on july 1 to celebrate charmaine's bday. i know they are gonna go sing K
again. i knew it even b4 she told me. that's the most common activity they have. better not to expose my weakness again.
fuwing is asking me to go to school with her on report day. don't worry. i will always be there for u =) especially that day.
i promised, remember? that's the reason i wait till the last min to go back.
went to take picture cards. i forgot to take one with just fuwing! remember i said we have to take one and see if we still look the same?
hope we can find some other time to take it b4 i leave. went to hunghom with her again around 5 to have tea/dinner.

rode on AC bus twice today! seems like my AC luck is back.

stayed home in the morning and bought lunch for mom. went to get glasses and then to mongkok with
rosalie. we bought a lot until we both have no money. then rosalie went to taikoosing for dinner with her
parents while i went to visit jimmy's office. he has a nice place. he asked me to help him with the
toys on sunday. i stayed with him till 9 something and we rode the same bus home. felt dizzy with
my new glasses.
Jun. 29
went windurfing again cos sisters have classes. the wind got stronger in the afternoon. my finger
doesn't really hurt tat much when i was in the water. maybe becos my mind was occupied by the board
then by my fingers. left earlier to meet fuwing and cc at TST where i went fixing my glasses there.
the one at diamond hill did a bad job in checking my eyes. the one at TST did a better job.
cc and fuwing left me alone while i was checking my eyes. u have to understand that it is my first time
in so many years coming to this mall. i dunno if i can find my way out easily!
dad called on my way home and told me to go to uncle 2's house for dinner. i told him to wait for me
so that i can ride with him. i felt better this time so i ate quite a lot. after that we help moving
uncle 1's family and their stuffs to my house. they are moving here cos auntie 2 is coming back on friday.
i slept in my own room tonight. first night in 2 years. feeling so warm up there.
Jun. 30
went to yamcha with auntie virginia, francis' mom. she has something for me to bring back for francis and thomas.
heard from her that thomas has accepted christ. another one! omg!
the lunch was good. we couldn't finish the food. they are good. i really want to finish it. i got a
hot water bottle from her as a gift. and餐飯又係拒既﹗i m only bring a little things back. don't have to
give me so much!
went to jimmy's place again to help clean the toys. tiring job. was suppose to have dinner with him
but becos there is world cup final tonight i chose to have dinner at uncle 3's place.
rush there right b4 the game started. dinner began right after i came. uncle gave me a glass of
beer and after i drank it i felt sick. i was sick the whole dinner and couldn't eat much even tho
everything on the table was my favorite. couldn't even breathe properly. kept drinking tea afterward.
Brazil won =( 唔開心。阿妹話我專捧埋晒D冷門﹐個個都捧熱門﹐梗要有D人買另一方先有得玩家嘛﹗
