In spite of the advances in computer and video games over the years, I still like to occasionally play the old 1993 vintage game, "Doom", and also "Doom II".  It's still one of the most exciting games around; and some of the ports, like  "JDoom"  from Doomsday, and  "zDoom",  make it even better. Not being the best player in the world, I sometimes need a little extra help.  And this DeHackEd patch (a "deh" patch) works great.  It gives you a faster pistol, makes the shotgun faster, and makes the double-barrel shotgun in "Doom II" very fast by eliminating the reloading sequence. It comes in two versions... with extra ammo, and without extra ammo; and has been tested by me in both  "zDoom"  and  "JDoom",  and with  "Doom I"  and  "Doom II".  Download  patch without extra ammo Download  patch that also gives extra ammo ( Note:  These patches are NOT for the new "Doom 3" game. )
