Throwing away some trash while Robert Donat and Lucie Mannheim are running from the theater, about 6 or 7 minutes into the picture.

THE BIRDS (1963)
As Tippi Hedren is entering the pet shop, he is leaving it with two white terriers, about 2 minutes into the picture.

BLACKMAIL (1929)
Being annoyed by a small boy as he's trying to read a book on the subway, about 11 minutes into the picture.

DIAL M FOR MURDER (1954)
On the left side of a class-reunion photo, about 14 minutes into the film.

EASY VIRTUE (1927)
Walking by tennis court, while carrying a walking stick, about 15 minutes into the picture.

FAMILY PLOT (1976)
His shadow can be seen through the glass door of the Registrar of Births and Deaths, about 38 minutes into the movie.

FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT (1940)
Near the beginning of the movie, after Joel McCrea leaves the hotel, wearing a coat and hat and reading a newspaper, about 10 minutes into the picture.

FRENZY (1972)
In the middle of a crowd, about 3 minutes into the film. He's the one not applauding.

I CONFESS (1953)
At the top of a staircase just after the opening credits, about 1 minute into the movie.

THE LADY VANISHES (1938)
In Victoria Station, smoking a cigarette, near the end of the movie about 90 minutes into the picture.

LIFEBOAT (1944)
In the "before" and "after" pictures in a newspaper ad for something called Reduco Obesity Slayer, about 25 minutes into the picture.

THE LODGER (1926)
First at a desk in a newsroom, about 3 minutes into the picture; and then later on in a crowd watching an arrest, about 92 minutes into the picture.

THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (1956)
With his back to the camera in the outdoor marketplace watching some acrobats just before the murder, about 25 minutes into the picture.

MARNIE (1964)
About 5 minutes into the picture he enters the hotel corridor (from the left) just after Tippi Hedren walks by.

MR. AND MRS. SMITH (1941)
About 40 minutes into the picture passing Robert Montgomery in front of his building.

MURDER (1930)
About 60 minutes into the picture walking past the house where the murder was committed.

NORTH BY NORTHWEST (1959)
During the opening credits as he misses his bus. The bus doors close just as he gets there, and leaves without him. About 2 minutes into the picture

NOTORIOUS (1946)
During the party at Claude Rain's house drinking champagne and then leaving in a hurry. This takes place about 60 minutes into the picture.

THE PARADINE CASE (1947)
Carrying a cello while leaving a train, about 36 minutes into the movie.

PSYCHO (1960)
Through Janet Leigh's window as she returns to her office. He's wearing a cowboy hat. This happens about 6 or 7 minutes into the picture.

REAR WINDOW (1954)
In the songwriter's apartment winding up a clock about 25 minutes into the picture.

REBECCA (1940)
Just after George Sanders uses the phone, he can be seen walking near the phone booth as George Sanders is talking to a policeman, 123 minutes into the picture.

ROPE (1948)
This is a hard one. Some claim you can see him on the street during the opening credits. Also, you can see his outline briefly on a distant neon sign outside the window about 52 minutes into the picture.

SABOTEUR (1942)
About 60 minutes into the picture, standing outside of a "Cut Rate" Drugstore when the saboteur's car stops.

SHADOW OF A DOUBT (1943)
He's playing a game of cards on the train to Santa Rosa about 17 minutes into the movie.

SPELLBOUND (1945)
Coming out of an elevator at the Empire Hotel while carrying a violin case and smoking a cigarette, about 35 minutes into the picture.

STAGE FRIGHT (1950)
He turns to look at Jane Wyman when she is disguised as Marlene Dietrich's maid, about 38 minutes into the picture.

STRANGERS ON A TRAIN (1951)
As Farley Granger is getting off the train in his hometown, he is boarding the train with a bass fiddle, about 10 minutes into the film.

SUSPICION (1941)
Mailing a letter about 45 minutes into the picture.

TO CATCH A THIEF (1955)
Sitting next to Cary Grant on a bus, about 10 minutes into the picture.

TOPAZ (1969)
In a wheelchair at the airport, about 28 minutes into the picture. He gets out of the wheelchair, and then walks away.

TORN CURTAIN (1966)
Near the beginning of the film, about 8 minutes into the movie, sitting in the hotel lobby with a baby on his lap.
