In Jesus' Name

"Child, you misunderstand me. "Pray in my name - within my will. A knight who conquers in the name of his lord does not do it out of his own will but in obedience to his king's command. Pray, not as of yourself, but as I would have you pray. "Pray in my name - with my authority. As a policeman who stops a car in the name of the law, so pray knowing that when you pray within my will, I stand behind you to give my support to your request. "Pray in my name - in confidence. Know that you who are in me are accepted and perfect before the Father. Once you were his enemies, now you are his sons. Pray knowing your Father listens and in his wisdom will answer you and give you what is best. "I promise you, child, that if you ask me anything in my name - in my will, in my authority, in faith - I will surely do it."
