Dominica's Bays and Beaches

Dominica has only a few beaches of attraction for sunbathers; the best swimming
is done in rivers.
On the volcanic coast, the sand is volcanic black. White beaches best suited
to swimming are located on the northeast of the island.

The sand is a beautiful golden color. Most of the island's beaches, however,
consist of black volanic sand.
