Sean O'Gara vs. Vlad
James Fairbanks: Hello and welcome to UCW Fury. We have a great night planned out for everyone who is watching tonight, but first up we have a newcomer to UCW going up against the former UCW World and Internet champion Sean O'Gara.
Jack Creed: Vlad does have his work cut out for him if he wants to pull off the win in his first UCW match. Though it was Vlad that made the challenge for this match, so he had to have been ready for whatever opponent he would end up facing tonight. So it should be interesting to see what this newcomer is capable of.
F: Now is the time to find out, as he is coming out now to the tune of "Vampires" by Godsmack and accompanied by his manager Claudia. It is also rumored that Claudia may soon be the newest addition to the Womans title scene here in UCW, so Sean may have his work cut out for him with these two out here together.
C: I myself am looking foward to seeing what Claudia is capable of. In fact, after the match I plan to ...
F: That's enough Creed, children could be watching, and Sean O'Gara is now on his way out here. It was him that accepted Vlad's challenge, so we know he is ready for this match against this newcomer. Of course you don't get to be a two time UCW Internet champion and a former UCW World champion by underestimating your opponents.
C: Both Sean and Vlad are in the ring, while Claudia waits on the outside and watches and is ready to help her man out as needed ... and by help I mean give some helpful advise whenever Vlad seems to be in need of guidance.
F: As long as that is all she has in mind, this is supposed to be a one on one match. She shouldn't even be out here.
C: As a manager she has every right to be there, but if you want I could invite her to come and sit with us ... I'll be keeping my eye on her.
F: I'm sure you would love that, but now this match is officially starting. Sean and Vlad tie up, and Vlad is able to quickly sneak behind Sean and ties him up with a hammerlock armbar and then into a side headlock. It seems that Vlad is taking an early advantage with his technical skill.
C: Sean O'Gara has been proven to show a bit of technical skill and quickness himself, which he displays with an elbow to the ribs of Vlad, and then he takes Vlad down with a side suplex.
F: Sean stomps on the body of Vlad a couple times, and then runs to the rope to probably rebound with an elbow or leg drop, but then he is tripped up by Claudia! I should have known that she would do something like this.
C: She was only resting against the apron and Sean somehow got his foot snagged in her hands and tripped. Besides, he is up, and now he is turning to Claudia and is giving her an earful, who denies doing anything out of the ordinary. Then while Sean makes the mistake of having his back turned to his opponent, Vlad takes advantage with a knee to the back that sends Sean to the outside of the ring and to the feet of Claudia.
F: The referee is now telling off Vlad for doing that, but while he has his back turned, Claudia nails Sean with a hard kick to the ribs. She then picks him up, and tosses him head first into the metal stairs that are next to the ring. What is that if it isn't cheating?
C: Vlad then exits the ring, and then stomps away on Sean while Claudia backs away just before the referee turns around and is able to notice what has been going on. Vlad then rolls Sean back into the ring and then slingshots over the ropes with a leg drop. Vlad covers 1 ... 2 ... but Sean kicks out. Both Vlad and Claudia seem surprised by this. I guess they both thought that should have won the match.
F: It will take more than that here in UCW, and that is something that these two will have to learn. Though Vlad may be able to pick up the upset win in his first match over Sean O'Gara if he continues to use these tactics.
C: I think Vlad is acting as if he has something to prove tonight. A good way to make your debut here in UCW, and now he picks up Sean and forces him into the corner and continues the assault on the former champion. Vlad stands on the second rope and pummeling away on Sean with a series of punches, but the Sean is able to regain his senses and grabs Vlad and runs out of the corner and plants him with a running sit down power bomb. Sean holds on and the referee starts a count ... 1 ... 2 ... but Vlad kicks out.
F: I'm amazed that Vlad was able to kick out from that, because anyone else would have been finished for sure. Even Claudia seems to have been surprised by this as she is now standing on the ring apron. She needs to get down from there, but now she is argueing with the referee.
C: Sean is up, and this time he grabs her. It seems he owes her for what she did earlier when he was on the outside. That isn't fair, that was an accident.
F: An accident? She kicked him and threw him into the stairs.
C: She was showing off her new shoes and trying to help him up, he flinched and brought that on himself.
F: Sean pulls back and is about to nail her, but the referee stops him by slipping in between the two of them. Then as the referee is distracted Vlad nails Sean with a low blow, and then plants him with a DDT. The referee turns around just as Vlad covers ... 1 ... 2 ... but again Sean kicks out.
C: Now Vlad seems to be getting very frustrated. That could be the worst mistake a rookie can make, but he seems to be taking a gamble by climbing to the top rope. Maybe he is going to the Fly by Night, but will it pay off?
F: Vlad takes the leap, but Sean rolls out of the way and Vlad lands back first on the mat. Now it is Sean who has the advantage and is looking to finish off this match with the Elevation Press.
C: Sean is now perched on the top rope, but no Claudia is back on the apron ... and Sean kicked her off for no good reason! That was uncalled for!
F: She tried to knock him off of the top rope! What are you talking about? Vlad tries to take advantage again by suplexing Sean off of the top rope, but this time Sean was ready and blocks it and counters by planting Vlad face first on the mat with a front suplex of his own. Vlad is down ... and there is the Elevation press! Sean covers ... 1 ... 2 ... 3!
C: This match is over, and it was the seasoned veteran who was able tp pull off the win, but I doubt we have seen the last of Vlad. It was a really nice effort, and I hope UCW will see a lot more of him ...
F: Creed, that was very nice of you to say, I am in shock.
C: ... and I want to see a lot more of Claudia most of all.
F: I should have expected that. We will be right back.
Inferno vs Drego 2k3
UCW Hardcore Title Match
Fairbanks: Well, as you all know Mayhem got cancelled this week due to a Triple H promo for Wrestlemania running slightly over time...
Creed: 5 hours.....
Fairbanks: Yes alright but that doesn't matter right now. Anyway, we've had another schedule change here tonight, as nobody can find Seth and Poison is still smarting from injuries suffered in the Elimination Chamber at the last PPV, so instead of those two going head to head we bring you the two matches you didn't get to see on Monday, starting with Inferno vs Drego 2k3 for the Hardcore title!
Creed: Whoopdeedoo....
Fairbanks: "Crawlin' " by Linkin Park hits and the challenger makes his way out to the ring. This is Drego's first outing in the hardcore division, and he's going head to head with the one and only 4 time Hardcore champion, who is now making his way out from the back. The fans don't sound too pleased to see him...
Creed: Do you blame them? And look at the rage on Drego's face. He's looking for some payback here for what Inferno did to his cousin's grave. Inferno stands up on the ring apron and Drego rebounds off the ropes and hits a cross body over the top rope, taking both of them to the floor. The ref calls for the bell and this hardcore match is underway!
Fairbanks: Drego is the first up and nails Inferno with a kick to the gut, then DDTs him onto the steel steps leaving Inferno sprawled across them, before climbing up on the security wall and nailing a knee drop into Inferno's back. Drego then reaches under the ring and pulls out a kendo stick, cracking it across Inferno's back with a rage filled shot.
Creed: Drego's looking to keep the big man down and its working so far!
Fairbanks: Drego's incredibly quick and agile and he's looking to take advantage of that here, Inferno struggles back to his feet and turns round, getting a kendo stick across the face which takes him down to the floor. Drego covers Inferno 1...2...kickout by the freak.
Creed: Almost Drego's first taste of UCW gold!
Fairbanks: Drego climbs up on the security wall, waiting for Inferno to get back to his feet, then runs at him with the kendo stick, but Inferno catches him by the throat as he lands, and chokeslams him to the floor. Inferno switching the momentum in dramatic style here, stomping away at the crusierweight.
Creed: Inferno's pretty powerful isn't he?
Fairbanks: So you noticed too?
Creed: Well duh, its not like I have a short attention...oooh pretzels.....
Fairbanks: Inferno lifts Drego up by the neck and yells obscenities at him, then points to a gash just above his eye caused by the earlier kendo stick shot. He lifts up the youngster into a body press, then drops him at a sickening head-first angle onto the steel steps, smiling as Drego's limp body collapses against the steel. He reaches under the ring and grabs a steel chair, and swings at Drego's head, busting him open with a hellacious shot as good ol' JR would say!
Creed: Why do they still call him "good ol' " JR, I mean, what makes him good? He hired Nathan Jones and Scott Steiner, and fired Raven and Jerry Lynn for God's sake!
Fairbanks: In any case, Inferno rolls Drego into the ring, and follows him in, still carrying the chair. Once in the ring, he holds the chair above his head, looking for another strike, but Drego sees it coming and rolls out of the way, then leaps to his feet and dropkicks the chair into Inferno's face, before collapsing to the mat once again.
Creed: He's taken one hell of a beating! I'm surprised he's even breathing!
Fairbanks: Drego pulls himself up at the ropes as Inferno gets up, also bleeding profusely from the head. The freak turns and goes for a running clothesline, but Drego trips him and sets him up on the middle rope 6-1-9 style. Drego signals to the crowd and goes to the top rope, what's he thinking here?
Creed: Most likely something stupid!
Fairbanks: Drego leaps from the top rope with a frog splash variant and lands across Inferno's back crushing his windpipe against the rope. Drego quickly covers Inferno 1...2....thrkickout by Inferno, who despite having enough to kick out is clasping his neck after that unorthodox attack by Drego. Drego back to his feet and scouts Inferno, waiting for him to get back to his feet, then grabbing him into a reverse DDT position looking for the annihilator!
Creed: Wait! Inferno's too strong, he's pulling himself up and taking Drego with him up onto his shoulder!
Fairbanks: Looks like we could be seeing the Infernal... no wait, instead holding Drego with his head pointing towards the mat.... PILEDRIVER!!!!
Creed: Oh boy... that is it... lights out Drego!
Fairbanks: Inferno puts his foot on Drego's chest and the referee counts 1....2...but Drego raises his arm off the mat and gives Inferno the finger! Serves the freak right for being so cocky and not pinning him properly!
Creed: But Inferno's not happy about it!
Fairbanks: Inferno, nails Drego with a stiff punch to the head then raises him onto his shoulders, nailing the Infernal slam. But this time, instead of pinning the youngster, he takes the chair and sets it up in the center of the ring, then lifts a semi concious Drego up again and powerbombs him through it! Inferno drops to his knees and hooks the leg, and this time the ref counts the full 1...2....3 That's a sad end, Drego so nearly had this match won!
Winner: Inferno (by pinfall)
Still UCW Hardcore Champion
Creed: Inferno takes his belt from the referee and holds it aloft to the booing of every fan in the arena, then begins stomping away at Drego.
Fairbanks: The match is over but Inferno sees fit to deliver some more punishment to his beaten opponent, but then Cobra rushes out from the back carrying a steel chair, and Inferno makes a hasty escape into the crowd. Cobra helps his brother to his feet and they make their way to the back... we're going to take a break now ladies and gentlemen, but don't go anywhere!
Rob Grayson & Buffy vs Jackal & Riot
UCW Tag Team Title Match
F: It’s time for Buffy to try and get payback on Jackal and Riot for their PPV victory, only this time she’ll be using Rob Grayson as her partner. The fact that these two are still Tag Team champions is shocking.
C: Not as shocking as this tazer.
F: Ouch! Where’d the hell did you get that!?
C: Some guy in a trench coat out back sold it to me. It’s fun, look.
F: Ouch! Give me that! Ladies and gentlemen, UCW does not condon violence of any kind, be it tazers or backyard wrestling federations.
C: Yeah, just buy what we sell, everything else sucks.
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen the following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the UCW Tag Team titles. Making their way to the ring first, the challengers, Riot and Jackal!
[A howl comes over the sound system and “When Worlds Collide” by Powerman 5000 cuts in, as team comes out. They slap a couple of hands as they come down and climb into the ring. As Riot bounces off the ropes and Jackal climbs the turnbuckle, “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me” comes on and Rob Grayson with his title belt in his right hand comes out.]
A: Introducing first for the champions, weighting in at 245 pounds, Rob Grayson!
[He paces around at the top of the ramp when Buffy’s theme music comes on. She walks out of the back with Faith close behind, wearing a t-shirt that says “Let Kam in Mickey.”]
A: And his partner, weighting in at 120 pounds from Sunnydale California, and being accompanied byFaith, Buffy!
[They walk down with Grayson and into the ring except for Faith, who takes the Tag Team titles off them once their in. The bell sounds.]
F: Tag gold up for grabs, it’s show time.
[Jackal and Grayson start off, circling each other for a few moments then tie up. They struggle and Jackal gets the upperhand, getting Grayson into an arm wrench. He uses the hold as a lever to force Grayson down to his knees then elbows him in the arm followed by a knee to the face. Jackal climbs out onto the apron and goes for a slingshot leg drop but Grayson rolls aside, making Jackal land on base of his spine. Grayson gets to his feet and before Jackal can get up he dropkicks him in the face while he is on all fours. Grayson uses his chance and locks in a rolling half crab but is too near the ropes so Jackal is able to break it easily. Grayson pulls him to his feet and starts pounding him in the head with right hands, and after four shots tags out to Buffy. She comes in with a right hand of her own, takes Jackal into the corner and hits a Tornado DDT. She goes for a pin getting a 1-2 count before Jackal kicks out. She pulls him up to his feet hitting him a few digs as she does, and whips him off the ropes for a move but as he comes back Jackal goes to kick Buffy in the gut. She grabs his foot at the last possible moment and holds him there one legged until he hits an enziguri.]
F: Even a three dogged dog has a bite, and it seems one legged Jackal’s do too.
[Jackal gets to his feet first and pulls Buffy up from behind and hits a Front Russian Leg Sweep. He tags out to Riot and the two hit a double leg splitter. Riot gets a hold of the ropes and starts to choke Buffy with his right knee to the boos of the crowd. The ref orders him to stop and he backs up and almost immediately goes at her with stomps to the chest and gut. He hauls Buffy up and hits a front suplex, followed by a pin attempt for 1-2. He tags out to Jackal and throws Buffy into the middle of the ring for Jackal to hit with a Cannonball. He hooks the leg for a 1-2 count that Grayson runs in and breaks up. As he is ushered out by the referee Jackal gets Buffy up and hits an Insider’s Edge. He tags out to Riot and throws Buffy into the corner next to his own. Riot comes in and rushes to the corner opposite Buffy then charges at her for a spear but she swiftly moves a side sending Riot straight through into the turnbuckle itself. She quickly tags out to Grayson who comes in and elbow drops Riot again and again. He drags him into the middle of the ring and goes to hit the Death Drop on him but Jackal charges in before the referee can stop him and swings at Grayson who ducks it and hits the Death Drop on him.]
C: Wrong man idiot!
[Grayson throws Jackal out over the top rope and the referee leans out to shout at him. As the ref’s distracted Riot gets to his feet, Grayson tags out to Buffy, holds Riot from behind and moves away just as Faith, moving like lighting, goes to hit the Faithless on him but Riot catches her midair and hits a powerbomb. Grayson swings at Riot who ducks the shot and catches him with a Japanese arm drag as he turns. Both men go down as their partners are in their corners. Buffy is screaming at Grayson to hurry up and Jackal is slapping the top of the turnbuckle to encourage Riot who springs to up and leaps at Jackal, tagging him in just as Grayson brings Buffy in. Grayson and Riot both roll outside the ring and compose themsleves while the two legal competitors charge at each other. Jackal knocks Buffy down once, twice, three times. Grayson fully recovers and charges round at Riot, battering him with right fists. He hits him a powerful European Upppercut that sends Riot over the guard rail into the crowd and Grayson jumps over after him. Meanwhile, Jackal has beaten Buffy into the ropes and whips her off them into a dropkick. He then pulls her up and sets her itno the corner while Grayson can just be seen throwing Riot itno a group of chairs in the crowd. Jackal lines Buffy up and hits the HFB then scores the 1-2-3 count.]
Winners - Jackal & Riot by Pinfall New UCW Tag Team Champions F: Firm win for Jackal and Riot, despite the interference from a certain lady.
C: Grayson doesn't even seem to care, he's too busy annihilating Riot.
F: We’ll if he's not bothered Buffy certainly will be. That's all tonight we'll see you soon goodnight!
[Camera fades on Jackal holding up both Tag Team titles in the ring while Faith helps Buffy out and retreats up the ramp.]
