(1971-2003)

Sadly, we must once again dedicate a show to a wrestler taken from us too early. This week's Mayhem is dedicated to the memory of Michael "Crash Holly" Lockwood. Rest in peace Houdini of Hardcore

INFERNO VS JOHNNY TSUNAMI

STANDARD MATCH

Fairbanks: Welcome to UCW Mayhem here on Monday night!

Creed: Its Monday????

Fairbanks: Yes, unusual though it may seem we do in fact have a show on a Monday night this week, so we have two great matches coming up to celebrate this rare event, and it all kicks off right now with the returning Inferno taking on the returning Johnny Tsunami.

Creed: How... erm.... exciting. James.... is there....

Fairbanks: No Creed there is no Women's title match tonight....

Creed: DAMN YOU!!!

Fairbanks: Well Johnny Tsunami is on his way out now, unaccompanied I might add, so it looks like as far as he's concerned this will be an upstanding and fair contest.

Creed: But it has a Frenchman in it....

Fairbanks: And speaking of that, here comes Inferno, also unaccompanied. Seems to be the trend for tonight!

~The crowd cheer for Inferno who climbs into the ring quickly and is immediately kicked in the head by Johnny Tsunami, who then goes into a grounded headlock and starts wrenching Inferno's neck. Inferno grabs the ropes, and Johnny keeps the hold as long as he can before breaking it~

Creed: Nippy little bastard!

~Inferno gets up to a knee, and Johnny rebounds off the ropes, flips over his back and nails a flipping jawbreaker. Quickly into the cover 1-2-kickout by Inferno. Johnny rebounds off the ropes, but Inferno clocks him with a right hand and forces him to back off, giving him time to recover. Inferno gets back to his feet and nails Johnny with another right hand taking him to the corner, where Inferno charges at him driving his shoulder into Johnny's gut, then stamping away at him in the corner~

Fairbanks: Inferno's style seems a bit more extreme than before he left...

~Inferno waits for Johnny to get out of the corner, then locks in an arm wrench and starts delivering some kicks to Johnny's ribcage, slowly wearing him down. Johnny spins round to break the arm lock, then hits a reverse dropkick to take Inferno back onto the ropes. Inferno runs at him looking for the clothesline, but Johnny drops to the mat and hits a drop toe hold, then hits a modified baseball slide to Inferno's face. Johnny then slowly makes his way to the top rope~

Fairbanks: Here we go! Could be time for the Tsunami Splash!

~Johnny climbs the turnbuckle and signals to the crowd, then flips through 450 degrees, but lands straight on Inferno's raised knees and bounces off clutching his ribs in pain. Inferno struggles up in the corner then taunts for Tsunami to get up. Johnny turns and Inferno tosses him up onto his shoulders, looking for the Infernal slam, but Johnny counters in midair into a reverse DDT. Johnny covers 1-2-thrkickout by Inferno.~

Creed: Wow! Sweet counter! Deserved a better result!

~Johnny flips back to his feet and looks at Inferno with frustration. He waits for Inferno to get back to his feet, then runs at him and leaps onto his shoulders looking for a hurracanrana, but Inferno's weight makes it impossible to complete the maneuver. Inferno holds Johnny on his shoulders for a while, then nails a sitout powerbomb, and hooks the leg for the 1-2-3~

Fairbanks: Well thats over, too bad for Tsunami. In my opinion he could have won this match....

Creed: Yeah well, he didn't. Get over it....

Fairbanks: Commercial break time!

Winner (by pinfall): Inferno

Mad Maple vs. Ultimatum

UCW Hardcore Title Taped Fists Match

James Fairbanks: Welcome back to this exiting edition of UCW Mayhem. We have already seen the return of Inferno in his first match since that tremendous cage match with Rob Grayson and Justin Chain at UCW: Point of No Return, and now we are ready for some hardcore action.

Jack Creed: Buffy and Faith are coming out here to put on a little show?

F: No Creed, I mean we will be featuring a UCW Hardcore title match. Tonight Ultimatum will be seeking revenge for being placed in the Cold Stretch at UCW: Straight Out of Line during that six man tag team match, as he will be facing the Mad Maple in a taped fist match.

C: Ultimatum is on his way out here now, and this should be interesting, as Ultimatum has already felt the Cold Strech once, and now he has to be worried about being locked in that move once again, because this time, it could mean an end to his UCW Hardcore title reign.

F: Mad Maple is on his way out here now, coming out to Bachman Turner Overdrive. Mad Maple is a former UCW Internet and Tag Team champion, but he has never held the UCW Hardcore title before, so he has to be looking foward to this match.

C: The bell is rung, and now both wrestlers are circling each other in the middle of the ring. Both attempt a few punches, but are dodged. There could be anything hidden under the tape on both both these wrestlers, so they are being a bit cautious.

F: Maple takes a hard swing but Ultimatum ducks and delivers a jab to the ribs of Mad Maple. Ultimatum then powers Mad Maple to the corner and has him at his mercy.

C: Not quite, as Ultimatum draws back and prepares to deck Mad Maple with a hard fist, Maple counters with a thumb to the eye. Ultimatum staggers back, and then Maple rolls to the outside of the ring, and grabs Ultimatum by the legs and pulls him crotch first into the ring post.

F: That has Ultimatum down, and before he can pull himself away, Maple grabs a steel chair from around ringside and then smashes it into the knee of Ultimatum.

C: Ultimatum manages to pull himself away from the corner, and staggers to his feet. He seems to be limping slightly and trying to walk it off, but before he can Maple is back in the ring and again clips him in the back of the knee with that steel chair.

F: Now Maple places the chair around the ankle of Ultimatum, and then climbs to the second rope in the corner. The referee would like to stop this, because once Maple connects, he will shatter the leg of Ultimatum and will most likley injure him for another long while.

C: Well this is hardcore rules, where anything can happen, and this should make Ultimatum easy pickings for any type of submission move that Maple might decide to do after this.

F: Maple jumps, and Ultimatum rolls out of the way and Maple lands knee first on the mat. Ultimatum manages to pull that chair away from his leg and is the first to his feet, and then smashes Maple repeatedly in the leg with that chair.

C: Maple tries to crawl away, but Ultimatum grabs Maple by the foot and pulls him back to the middle of the ring, Maple is hopping on one leg and throwing punches but Ultimatum keeps swaying back to dodge them.

F: Suddenly Maple jumps up and nails Ultimatum in the back of the head with an enziguri that reminds everyone of the late great Owen Hart. Those Canadians are a crafty bunch.

C: Ultimatum is down, and Maple is signalling for the Cold Stretch. This is the move that he locked in at the PPV and this time if he does there will be a new UCW Hardcore Champion for sure.

F: Maple just about has it locked in, but as soon as he is on Ultimatums back, then Ultimatum backs him into the corner and squashes him. Then Ultimatum powers Maple onto his shoulders and walks him to the middle of the ring ... and there is the F-5! Ultimatum covers ... 1 ... 2 ... 3!

C: Ultimatum has successfully defended the UCW Hardcore title in a great effort by Maple. Maybe next time if these two ever face off, there may be a different result, but right now Ultimatum is the winner. We'll be ...

F: We'll be right back with more UCW Action.

C: Dammit!

Winner -- Ultimatum
