ROLEPLAYING
Roleplaying is what determines if you win or lose your matches. But sometimes other factors will be taken into consideration. Like effort, attitude, or storyline.
- The more you roleplay the better the chances are that you are going to win, but your roleplays have to be respectable length roleplays. A short roleplay counts for nothing, but don't go to long either. There is a such thing as over kill.
- Do not use other wrestlers from the active roster in your roleplays, unless you have their permission.
- Set up your roleplays in an interview type form with a scene, don't just type without an interview or a scene.
- Use a good imagination. Don't use other real wrestlers cathphrases, unless you are doing it in paraody or quoting them.
- Using html always helps, like different font color, text, or size. Also pictures help the roleplay look better, but it is not required. Plus, try not to go overboard with pictures and fonts. Make it readable.
- Be tasteful. No swearing, or sexual attacks, racial slurs, or anything else that may be found offensive.
- If you receive a warning about offensive roleplaying and you don't improve it, first you will be jobbed, then you will be kicked out of the UCW.
- While UCW has no set rules about RP frequency as a matter of courtesy for your opponent we recommend that you RP once and then wait for the other person to respond. If 24 hours (give or take) pass without a reply then you may RP again and so the cycle continues, that way those with time constraints are not overwhelmed. This rule is not carved in stone, but we've found it to be an effective way of keeping down the number of people playing catch-up.
- The RP deadline is usually set at 24 hours before the event however if you would like a post-deadline RP to be taken into consideration and no disruption is caused to the matchwriting then please contact the staff either on OOC or email.
OTHER RULES
You are allowed to have only two original wrestlers. No WWF, WCW, ECW, TNA or any other real life wrestlers.
- No blatant knock-offs of real wrestlers either. No Sean Austins, or Justin Storms, or things like that.
- Be realistic. No 7 footers doing Shooting Star Press or anything else that is ridiculous.
- Don't complain to much if you lose or if things do not go as planned. Complaining will only make you lose more, and eventually end up fired.
- If you want to fued with someone, do a surprise attack on someone, do a skit during an event, or something else secretive that is fine but you must e-mail me telling me your plans. This way avoids confusion on our parts, and incase we book something conflicting with your plans.
- You can find the current card for the upcoming show on the main page.
- You can find the Presidents and Vice Presidents E-mail Addresses or MSN on the Staff page if you need to contact either of them for any reason.
- You can also find out the upcoming events for the fed by going to the OOC Board.
