"Cruce de Lagos" is the popular way to cross from Puerto Montt (Chile) over the top of the Andes mountails into Bariloche (Argentina) by a combination of boats and busses. It was an all-day trip, but the weather was gorgeous and the volcanic mountainds every bit as breathtaking as the Canadian Rockies.
