My name is Atyeeb Mut Nefer. I have been wire wrapping for over ten years. I first got into wire wrapping. when I purchased a piece of wire wrapped jewelry. I paid sixty dollars for it, went home and took it apart. When I initially purchased it I was looking at it saying to myself I can do this. So as you see it was a beautiful piece but to me it was beautiful in another way.
After taking it apart and putting it back together again the wires became weak from bending them so much. So I went to the hardware store and looked all over for some type of wire that I could bend. Then I found it. Copper wire. I purchased plenty of it and again I went home and continued teaching myself how to wrap wire. I learned through trial and error. I was self taught. It was that drive, that curiosity that kept me going. And after ten years I am still creating pieces that I have not done over the years.
Wrapping wire is something that can take you to great heights. Just be youself and let your imagination take you were you've never been before.
