This David E. Kelley work revolutionized courtroom dramas, American television, global television, and drama in general. The show is just unbelievably fluid, one moment dwelling in the technical aspect of the law, the next one changing your views on politics, and yet still the next one talking about what it's like to be human, all with incredible dialogue, flawless plots, and just the right mix of characters who will blow you away. |

Also from David Kelley, this show features the daily struggles of teachers. The cast is as good as any in the business, and the characterization is awe-inspiring. The script is very impressive, and the depth and clarity of the plot is mirrored only by the above mentioned Kelley work. It's clear from the way the characters have been developed that not only have most people met these people in life, part of most of us know these people's most personal battles innately. |
| Ally McBeal |
This is yet another David Kelley show, with yet another groundbreaking concept, and yet another extremely compelling plot, and yet another set of awards to prove it. David's least niche based work, Ally is as captivating as it is complex, and is definitely one of television's finer pieces. |
