Hi,
This is my version of life as we know it:

 |
I was born in Johnson City, New York, as a special
honeymoon surprise to my parents, who were at the time attending a local
college in Binghamton, New York.
|
 | Within two years, my family moved to Farley, New
Mexico. There, I learned many important things like how to dress
myself and to ride a horse. I also learned what it is like to have a
little sister in the family.
|
 | When I was five, my family once again moved. This
time to Bangor, California. Here, I started school. The town was
very small, so there were only 100 students in the local elementary
school. There were four classes, and four teachers. Each class
taught 2 grades, and the principal of the school taught the 7th and 8th
grades. Here was where I learned to ride a bicycle (or should I say
fall off). I have many scars from these adventures. It was here
that a second sister arrived.
|
 | My next move took me to Rural Grove, New York. This
was another very small town situated on a cul-de-sac. This was where I
finished my elementary education (Canajoharie Elementary School) and
discovered the piano. Here, I also gained a 3rd sister.
|
 |
For
Junior High School, my family again moved about 30 miles down the road,
where I attended Fonda-Fultonville Middle School. Here, I began
swimming competitively, achieved academic awards, and started to notice
boys. I also began playing piano in the church about this
time
|
 |
My
high school career found our family moving again, this time to
Pennsylvania. I continued to excel in school, choir, band. I
enjoyed working on the the yearbook staff, the student council and the honor
society.
|
 |
For
college, I decided to continue the mobile tradition and moved to
Chattanooga, Tennessee, where I studied Secondary Education, and
Mathematics.
|
 |
During my sophomore year of college, I realized that I also liked
drama. So, I decided to minor in communication. This year also
brought a very special someone into my life who would change it
forever....

In 1984, I became "mommy" for the first
time. Jeremy David was born in September 1984.
|
 |
In
1985, I began teaching at Muncie Christian School. I have great
memories of the three years I spent at Muncie. I directed 3 plays,
taught, Math and Science courses, and I had the privilege of being Senior
Class sponsor in 1988. Many wonderful friendships were made during
this time.
|
 |
In 1986, I found myself being called
"mommy" a second time. Timothy Daniel ("Danny")
was born on October 11, 1984. Both of my
children are a special delight to me. Each has his own special
personality. And each is a wonderful addition to my life.
|
 |
In
1989, we moved again. This time, however, it wasn't to another
part of the country. We moved 10,000 miles to Brazil. It took 18
months to adapt completely to the culture and grasp the language. After that, I found myself quite at home there. I have many wonderful
memories of this time in my life. I will never forget the great
friends we made there. I feel like most of my heart is still there
with my many very special friends.

 | Our last move, so far, brought us back to Kansas
City in 1995. We soon purchased a house, Jeremy and Danny adapted
quickly to life in the US and the Raytown School District. Eric returned to
college to get his Masters Degree in ESL, and I found myself an excellent
position with Hallmark Cards.

 | This is the story of my life so far. It is not
complete. Check back soon, as the saga continues to unfold.
