Greatest Matches]
Every once in a while,
you witness a match that you know you will never forget. Either it's
just so over-the-top, or so beautiful in it's technical brilliance,
or it was just a match that you waited months to happen, you kno it's
something special. Well, we've gathered here a collection of matches
just like these. Each of these are a piece of history, and each
represent what the EGWA is all about: mayhem, to the tenth degree.
Chaos
vs. Jonas Testament
(EGWA Crown Of Thorns Title)
This
match was a "Shop
Till You Drop"
Match, held in a Wal-Mart, and will probably go down as the wildest
match in all of the EGWA. It saw Testament drop Chaos into a vat
filled with hot butter, Chaos hit a spike piledriver through a glass
display case, and, at it's climax, Testament killed by three land
mines that Chaos brought into the store with him. Testament was
revived four minutes later, however. Chaos was granted the win after
that incident, giving him the title, and a place among the greats in
the EGWA Best Matches. [Click

Cannibal
vs. Lunatic
This
was a "Halftime Hell" Match. It was fought in an empty
football stadium, with proximity mines buried under the earth. There
was literally years of build-up coming to a head when this match was
signed. The two were former partners, who turned against one another
in the ICWA. When that promotion folded, they both found their
calling with the brand of ultra-violence in the EGWA. This took place
at "Breaking The Barrier," and definitely showed how far
two men fueled by hatred were willing to go. It ended when both
Cannibal and Luny fell from the top of Three Rivers Stadium, onto the
Steelers tourbus. Cannibal got his arm across the chest of Lunatic,
