Egyptan Adoptions

Since this has been a bit hard for some people to understand, I will re-write the rules again.

1 - You must have a web site. Your site may not be on Neopets and other members-only sites - no groups, pages which are used by multiple people, or club pages. It must belong to YOU (or your parents with their permission), and ONLY you.

2 - There must be a SEPARATE web PAGE within that site, for your Egyptan. Not a zoo page, not a list of other animals, and not a crowded page with lots of art on it. Just a simple page reserved for JUST your Egyptan.

3 - On the page, you MUST put these items:

- A coccoon image

Along with a stat-table. This can be copied and pasted onto your page, it doesn't have to be a real HTML table. Include these things (don't copy the things inside the () okay?) -

Egyptan's Name (you don't have to put this in until you get the cub)
Egyptan's Gender (again you can choose this when you get it)
Tribe (you'll find out once you get one)
Age (list as Coccoon, Cub, Teen or Adult for each stage you get)
Personality (again you'll find this out when you get your pet)
Mate (if you've got your own partner for them, or someone else agrees to have them pair up)

AND -

  - This link banner AND a working link to my main page, http://www.oocities.org/egyptan_breeder/ If you cannot put up a working link, using HTML, just paste the image AND a text link so people can copy it out of your page and reach me.
WITHOUT THOSE TWO THINGS, YOU WILL NEVER GET AN IMAGE.

To get the images and information, it's okay to copy by right-clicking and saving to YOUR computer in a folder where you will know where you got them. Do NOT right-click on every pretty picture you see on the net! They don't belong to you!

If you want to make sure that you'll get an Egyptan - I will be checking out the rest of your site's pages. If I start seeing stolen artwork, I will not give you an image, EVER. I will ask you to change your pages or credit the people you've taken images from. But if you can't do that, I'll have to also ask your server to REMOVE your page.

4 - Email the agency with...
Your Name (or online ID)
Your Email Address (MUST work, if you do not have one, you cannot adopt)
The URL where the Cocoon AND Link Back are (where the Egyptan will reside when it is grown up, and it MUST be accurate! If it is not set up before you email me, you will NOT get an Egyptan! remember: NO NEOPET SITES.)

If you can, please join the Yahoo Group. I now give out all 3 stages of Egyptans in the email to avoid confusion about when they grow. You may place the stages up one at a time over several weeks, or put up all three stages at once, or just use the adult image if you wish. Any of those ways is just fine with me. As long as there's a link and the image, I'm happy. If you want to meet others who have Egyptans, and share your new pet with them, please join the Yahoo group! Some folks make custom images and tribes that I don't - ask them about it there!

WHEN I recieve your email, I will visit the site and check it out. IF you have done a good job placing your images and the link to this site, I will announce your name, id or site name with the cub you've been given, in the Group. You MUST upload the picture to your site within one week. At this time, you may name the Egyptan and indicate what gender it is. You may choose both the name and gender yourself, as I don't know what you'd like to call them! Please email me again with this information or post it in the Group, and make sure that it is also clearly up on your website!

5 - (last and maybe most importantly) Even though you are getting these images, YOU did not create them. Do not try to take credit for them! Please do NOT "readopt" them out to anyone else. If someone wants their own Egyptan, they must go through the same effort as everyone else. Even your very best friend, or little brother or sister, may NOT use a picture that you adopted. EVER. These pictures were originally created by JONA, and I am using them with her express permission! They are not to be used in any web-art, including backgrounds, buttons, banners or the like.
