Day 3 The Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and the Citadel of Saladin
Day 4 Travel to Alexandria, visiting the monasteries of Wadi Natrun en route
Day 5 Alexandria: Catacombs, Roman amphitheater, Pompey's Pillar, Greco-Roman Museum, Alexandria Library, Citadel of Quaitbay, Montazzah Palace
Day 6 Travel to Marsa Matrouh visiting Al Alamein en route; visit Cleopatra's Beach and Rommel’s Cave in Matrouh
Day 7 Travel to Siwa oasis, and visit springs, the temple of the Oracle & the temple of Amun, and see the ruins of Shali fortress
Day 8 Travel to Bahariya oasis through the Sahara's Great Sand Sea (4-wheel drive vehicles); stop en route at an abandoned oasis
Day 9 Bahariya oasis: visit springs and pharaonic monuments
Day 10 Travel to the White Desert & Farafra oasis
Day 11 Travel to Dakhla oasis
Day 12 Visit Dakhla's pharaonic temples & Old Kingdom tombs, old villages, springs and natural features
Day 13 Travel to Kharga oasis and visit pharaonic temples, springs & natural features
Day 14 Travel to Luxor, visiting Zayyan & Dush temples en route
Day 15 Visit Luxor's East Bank: Karnak and Luxor temples, Luxor museum

Day 17 Travel to Assiut, visiting Dendara and Abydos en route

Day 20 Islamic Cairo: Zeweila Gate through El Moezz Street to El Fotu, seeing mosques, sabils, kuttabs, mausoleums, markets, crafts, old houses, shops & daily life
