Typesetting and Page Makeup

All manuscripts are composed into fully digital pages, with all graphics in place, using LaTeX (with the class file of the journal), XML (specified DTD), and HTML.  Our experienced Compositors are expert at producing complex pages which include tables, multiple mathematical equations,  and graphics.

Authors' manuscripts  are  converted to the Journal class file format needed by the Publisher, with nominal editing required. Manuscripts requiring keyboarding are double-keyed to ensure accuracy. Both text and codes are proofread for correctness and completeness. Prompt turnaround is maintained regardless of the complexity of the manuscript.

PDF, PS, and DVI proofs are delivered to publisher or author. All pages show the  layouts for the specific journal and include digitized graphics. Once all author changes are incorporated, pages are automatically paginated, Cumulative Author Indexes and Tables of Contents are generated, and PostScript files are produced for the Printer.
