Egyptian Temples

The egyptians made hundreds maybe thousands of temples for their 'precious' gods. Why? Apart from being obsessed with their religion, they had to apease their gods and goddess. They believed that these Temples where homes of The Gods' or Godess' Ka, their spirit or soul, the gods and godesses did not actually live in these, if they did live in there then lots of horrible things would of happened to the temple, villagers trying to get into the temple to see the god/goddess, instead, The gods and Goddesses stayed in their usual place, the sky.

Only the Pharaohs And Priests where able to speak to the gods, these where sometimes called 'speakers'. They Would offer The gods and Goddesses Gold and silver and at alot of times, food such as cattle, and ducks would be offered. Unlike The Aztecs, the Egyptian people where not in threat, the gods and goddesses did not eat hearts cut out of a living person, the Egyptians sort of lived a happy and carefree life.
