Snake Lily In the forest at above 2000m in Annapurna Sanctuary, there are many small plants on the side of the path. Especially this plant with the flower that look like the head of cobra, even the skin look like snake too; it is called as it look -- Snake Lily. Top Left: Is snake lily that just grown up. Top right: Is the snake lily with the flower. Can't imagine this two plant is the same kind if not the tour guide had tell us. The root of snake look like a small yam, and it can be eaten. not many people eat it because the taste is no good. May be that the reason why it grow so many.
There many others plant in the forest too. For example the plant that similar to some plant found in Singapore forest. The little plant in the top picture will grown into a big bushes during the monsoon season, than it will dry up in the winter and grow up like this again in next summer.
