Event Results from EHW's One Step Closer!
Date: March 30, 2002
Location: The EHW Arena (Or the backyard.. Whatever)

Match 1 - "Krazy" Kev vs. "Hardcore" Chris Gort
Finally, EHW starts a show off good! First to come out was "Krazy" Kev, followed by "Hardcore" Chris(from Davinport). The match starts off with both guys locking up. Chris then follows that up with an amazing DDT. Chris then follows it up with a piledriver, and a near fall, but he only gets a 2 count. Kev then gets to his feet, while Chris is bad mouthing the ref, and Kev hits a spinning heel kick to the back of Chris' head! Kev then follows it up with a fishermen suplex, but can only get a 2 count. Kev follows up the near fall with a side-russian leg sweep. Kev picks Chris up, but only to plant Chris with a DDT. Chris is down, but he hits low blow. Chris attemps a side suplex, but Kev backflips out of the suplex, and hits an amazing spinning heel kick on Chris! Kev picks Chris up, and hits him time after time. Chris then punchs Kev, and goes for a Northern Lights suplex, but Kev reverses it and hits a wicked DDT(wow this is a DDT match!). Kev tried to capitalize on Chris being knocked senceless, and slams him to the ground with a visious powerbomb! Kev then calls for the end. Kev gets a close 2 count, but Chris flips him over and gets a close 2 count of his own. Chris gets up first, and hits the slow to get up Kev with a superkick! This leaves both men down and hurt. Chris tried for a pin, but could only get a 2 count. Chris takes Kev and rams his head into a pallet. With Kev down, Chris got up on a pallet, and hits Kev with a perfect moonsault. Chris can only keep Kev down for a 2 count though. Kev gets up while Chris has his back turned, and Kev hits a sitdown powerbomb followed by a corkscrew senton on Chris. Only a 2 on Chris. Kev is back up but so is Chris. Lock up, followed by a test of strenght won by Chris, until Kev gets the upperhand and hits a sick rock bottom that plants Chris on his head. Kev could still only get a 2 count! Kev goes for a backbody drop, but Chris flips out of it. Chris then grabs Kev and takes him off his feet and turns him around. Chris then hits "I'm Huge" for the 1..2..3!

Match 2 - "Homeless" Mark vs. Bunga vs. "Mr. No-Sell" Trev
Right from the get go, Homeless looks like he is out to kill somebody. Trev and Billy start off, with Billy not selling a drop toe hold, kicking Trev in the butt, followed by jumping on Trev backward. Trev gets up and Billy runs at him Trev backdody drops him. After 4 minutes of the fans chanting "BORING" the match came to and end with Homeless unleashing his rage by suplexing Billy into a barb wire ladder leaving him bloody and battered.

Match 3 - The EV's vs. "Hardcore" Chris and Urkel for the Tag Titles!
Well you wanted hardcore? How does 50 mousetraps, 2500 thumbtacks, and a staple gun sound? This was by far the most insane match EHW has ever seen. The match starts off with Kev and Urkel squaring off with Urkel hitting a suplex. Meanwhile, Chris and Trev locked up with Trev getting the upperhand and backbody droping Chris. Urkel picked Kev up, but Kev hit a low blow, and then a reverse DDT on Urkel. Kev then picked Urkel up and was set to lay him out with another reverse DDT, but Urkel reversed it and hit a diamond cutter on Kev. In the meantime, Chris was close to having a stroke by trying to suplex Trev. Chris gave up and instead hit him with a low up, followed up by rolling thunder, but Trev put his knees up, and into Chris' back! Kev gets wipped into the pallet by Urkel. Chris then runs after the two only to be greated by the corner of the pallet in the groin. While Chris rives in pain, Kev takes advantage of Urkel and lays him out with a chair. Trev then kicks Chris in the nuts. Trev then proceedes to put a steal chair on Chris' head, and wack it with a baseball bat. Urkel then hits Kev with a frontface suplex on a steal chair. Trev helps Kev up, but Chris hits both Trev and Kev with a handicap sign, and proceeds to further his stroke by trying to slam Trev. Urkel wacks Trev with a chair and Chris superkicks Trev. Still Trev will not go down(Mr. No-Sell). Urkel wacks Trev again with a chair, then Trev FINALLY gets "bodyslamed" by Chris onto hunderds of thumbtacks and mousetraps! Urkel not to be out done then powerbombs Kev on mousetraps and thumbtacks! Kev is now a pushpin! Urkel tries for the pin but on gets a 2 count! Trev pounds Chris with a chair, while Urkel side-russian leg sweeps Kev. Trev then smokes Chris with a wicked sign shot to the head! Trev then calls for the finish, while Kev runs and gets the staple gun. Kev jumps off the ladder with a staple gun to the head. Kev then rockbottomed Urkel on the tacks and traps! Trev fireman caries Chris and slams Chris on the tacks and traps, while Kev could only get a 2 count on Urkel. Trev then sets up a table of chairs, while Kev staples the crap out of Chris. Urkel hits Kev, Kev then drops the staple gun and Chris staples Trev in the chest. Then Chris staples Kev in the arm, while Trev hits Urkel with a sign to the head. Chris big boots the sign in Trevs face. Chris then brings Kev over to the thumbtack board, and tries for a suplex, but Kev turns it around and hits a fishermen suplex on the board! This drives thumbtacks into Chris' head! Trev gives Chris his new finisher(the "Imonarollagay") on the table of chairs. But Trev can only get a 2 count on Chris. Urkel drops the chair of mousetraps, but hits a spinebuster on Kev. Chris then sees this as a chance to set a trap up and snap it on Kev's groin! The croud is going nuts! Chris and Urkel then hit The Hartfoundation the the tacks and traps, but Urkel only gets a near fall. Trev, kicks Chris in the nuts, hit a huge delayed suplex on Chris, on the tacks. Kev then sets up Urkel with a chair on top of him, hits a corkscrew senton, for the 3 count!

Match 4 - RY Superior vs. Citizan V vs. The Masked Man for the lightweight title!
This match started off quick, which is what we all expected. The Masked Man goes after V, but slips, and this gives V and Snow the upperhand. The Masked Man finally gets the upperhand and V is down with punches. Snow then slaps the figure 4 leg lock on V! Snow lets V out of the figure 4, and proceedes to beat the crap out of The Masked Man with a sign! V attacks Snow, until The Masked Man comes out to help Snow. Finally, The Masked Man gets unmasked and he is Stone! V hits a huge bubba bomb, while Snow sees this as an chance to get V. Snow then takes V and hits his new finisher on V, The Blizzard for the 3 count!

Match 5 - Main Event "Superstar" Jamie Curtis vs. "Hardcore" Chris Gort for the EHW World Title!
Well, this one was a classic. Not so much for it's wrestling but for the guys in it! Chris came out as the "Macho Man" Randy Savage. The crowd goes nuts. Not to be outdone was The Superstar. REAL AMERICAN bust though the speakers as The Superstar, who comes out in a wifebeater(that was way to small) and poses for the crowd! The 34 fans are gone nuts! Finally, the match gets underway! Both guys start with a lock up, Chris gives Curtis a fireman carry takeover, and Curtis puts Chris in the head sissors only to see Chris nip up out of it! They lock up again, and Chris low-blows Curtis, and slaps the headlock on! Chris is grinding it and then punches Curtis in the head. Chris then gives Curtis the bionic elbow! Chris pins Curtis, but can only get a 2 count. Chris argues with the ref, while Curtis gets up and boots Chris in the guts, and then hits Chris with a huge piledriver! Curtis follows it with a stomp. Curtis then rams Chris' head into the house and hits a Jericho Bulldog. Curtis goes for the pin, but only gets a 2 count. Curtis then breaks out the GARVIN STOMP! Curtis then picks Chris up and hits his most brutal 9-Life ever! Chris was knocked out for a second, while Curtis still could only get a 2 count. Curtis then gets up to hit the FAMOUS Flair KNEE! But still only gets a 2 count! Curtis then slaps a headlock and grinds it like crazy! Curtis then hits a fam-asser. Chris then is riving in pain, Curtis picks him up only for Chris to rake his back and hit a bubba bomb! Chris then puts Curtis in a reverse chin lock, only for Curtis to "hulk-up" and elbow out of it! Curtis then breaks out the CHOPS! 3 times! Chris then gets the upperhand to break out his own chops. Curtis kicks Chris in the groin, and hits a DVD on him. Curtis then takes Chris to the old school, the bridge. Curtis then delivers the most painfull powerbomb in EHW history! But still Curtis could only get a 2 count! Curtis then goes for a hip toss, but Chris flips out of it, kicks him in the back of the head and then hits his famous supekick! But only a 2 count! Chris then hits Curtis with a bionic elbow! Curtis is down, but Chris picks him back up! Chris tries it one more time, only for Curtis to hit the big boot and for Chris to backflip! Curtis then goes for the big leg drop, and hits it! For the 1..2.. KICK OUT by CHRIS! Curtis is pissed off he can't keep the little guy down. Chris calls for the fans as they make their way to the ladder. Chris then chokes Curtis with his steamer! Chris then takes whatever he had left and delivers the most insane BODYSLAM to the 300 pounder! Chris climbs to the top of the 12ft. shed and hits the BIG ELBOW! Finally, Chris gets a 3 count ..
