The teachers and staff at Ben Eielson
Jr/Sr High and the PTSA encourages parent involvement in the school. The PTSA
will be at school to assist parents who come to see what school is like for
their teenagers. Parents may go to class, follow the students through class change,
hang out for lunch, etc. They should not interfere with class routines but
observe procedures so they can help support teachers by understanding and
enforcing class rules with their child. PTSA will have a refreshment table
throughout the day where parents can go relax (escape during tests!) and get
information on upcoming PTSA events.
