Re: Leslie Steinberg, Apr 04, 2002 10:22 AM Maggie, Your nephew is adorable! I loved reading your story. Your very lucky to have someone like that in your life. Your story brought great memories of when I play with my younger cousins. Playing with them gives me the same thrill and feeling your nephew gives to you. I dont have any suggestions for you. I enjoyed your pictures! Great work! |
Re: Darcy, Apr 04, 2002 10:31 AM Maggie - This is a really sweet story. Your nephew is adorable! You are really lucky to have a daily reminder of the important things in life and it's great that you recognize that. There's not much that I needs improving. For lengthening purposes, add more specific stories. You could also compare life before your nephew was born to after - how he's changed you... I enjoyed reading your work. |
Re: Nathan Hopkins, Apr 04, 2002 01:05 PM I think your cousin has to be one of the cutest little kids I have ever seen. I also like how descriptive you were in telling the reader about your outside adventures with Ramiro. I would only reccomend that you talk a little bit mpore about seeing nature through awe inspired eyes of a child and maybe even recount some of the similar things that you saw when you were his age. |
Re: I Wanna Go Outside Francisca Zimmerman, Apr 08, 2002 03:25 PM You have made a lot of improvements to this project, when compared to the first one. I really did enjoy the amount of detail you had in your site. How about dcomparing your childhood in nature to his. Were you very different from him when you were little. Has he changed over the years? Does he like nature more or less now? By the way I liked the blurry picture. It said a lot about your special relationship with him and nature. Good job. |
Re: Irma Angelica Garcia, Apr 08, 2002 10:22 PM I think that your prject is so cute (yor nephew and the fact that you see things differently through him. Family can have quite an impact on us...i reallydont hae any suggestions guess i would just be a little more descriptive on a few things other than that it was a rally good paper |
Re: Marisol Sanchez, Apr 09, 2002 07:55 PM Maggie, this was indeed a very unique story. I don't think anyone else has written about a relative. Most us have written about our pets and nature itself. In the essay I can feel your excitement and how much you truly love your nephew. I have to nephews and two nieces. I witnessed my youngest niece's birth. That day was the most amazing day in my life. I cried of joy. In the beginning it seemed like you experienced the same? Am I right? If I am, perhaps you could be just a little bit more clear about that. Other than that, I have no other suggestions. Good JOb! |
Re: Lindsey Scarborough, Apr 11, 2002 09:56 AM Maggie Great job, I loved the pictures! I am very much a visual person. I really liked the part about having a fast paced life and not cherishing it the way Ramiro does. I feel the same way when I watched the young kids in my neighborhood in Houston play. Maybe expand more on the last sentence by comparing your views to Ramiro's views on time, learning, and nature. overall, excellent job! |
Re: Henill, Apr 17, 2002 06:43 PM Hi muchacha, i can sense the love you have for your nephew from what you have written, i can tell that you love him very much. I feel the same way about my nephew, i can't never tell him no. I loved the pictures and your webpage. Great job girl |
Re: Elizabeth Redwine, Apr 17, 2002 11:58 PM Maggie, It is so wonderful that you have this relationship with Ramiro. To be able to teach him and influence his learning is a great thing. I like how you talk about his interactions with nature. No real suggestion, but maybe give more detail to this and his reactions. |
