Toriko is
an alien (a
chick [not that chick, let's think about the chicken sons, ok?]
boy) who lives in the district of Yokohama of
Tokyô and attends the six grade
at the Nizi Nanatsu (Seven Rainbrows). He came down from his
planet to Earth in order to find his brothers (or so it seems) Hachi Inu
and Nyan Neko Chin Irozu and their mascotte, Cha·pi, and bring
them back to their planet. But unluckily, his landing at Kaoru
house wasn't truly perfect, and ibfact he fell down on Unchiko's
transfer machine, breaking it down. Nad so he's forced to stay
on Earth along with Hachiko and Nyako, in Unchiko's house. Just
like his brothers, he's very cute, but he's also more mature and
reflective, and he looks like to be the only "straight"
guy in all the serie. Although this, he's got a strange soft
spot toward his brothers (particulary toward Hachiko) and
under-ten aged boys, infact you always see him hanging around
with them, and offering them candies. His only weak point is the
green tea : if he just take an only drop of green tea, he gets
drunk and became a "sado-king", and his personality
changes at all. This happens because he got a strange
intolerance to the tea. His brother Nyako
always force him to take tea, so he can see him changing
personality, and Nyako really likes it. That's why Toriko doesn't
really like his little brother Nyako...^^; His
favourite hobbies are to read, to watch TV, to work with his
speaking-pocket-computer, to study and to sing. Infact Toriko
got a really wonderful voice, and knows how to sing good. He
loves singing, also because he's very appreciated by Hachiko,
that always congrats with him everytime he hear him singing. His
greatest dream is to meet the pervy girl Natsumi Buta, that he
considers very much, and perhaps also loves. He doesn't like to
fight, but she had to defend himself all the same from Unchiko, Sei e
Nyako, and so he use his personal weapon, the suteki rabu ken. This is a light
beamb that he shoots from his hands, and sometimes he uses it as
a kick. It must be noticed that he ends up all his sentences
with the word "chuu" ("Chuu" is the
honomatopeic word for the birdies' sound, [and rarely for
the chicks' one]
in
Japanese, but it also
means "little mouse, mousy", or a big kiss-smack^^).
However, he always tries to avoid to say it. He can also fly
thanks to the little sparrow's wings that he got on his back. |
