Photography in My Life...

...just a little tribute to photography and where it's taken me.

At one point in their lives my parents did professional photography.  This may explain my interest in the field.  I’ve always loved the camera, since I was four, I’ve been snapping shots of anything that caught my eye or held still long enough.

When I was in Elementary School a friend and I enter the photography section of the 4-H program.  Out of all the entries sent from my town both of my photo’s won first prize.

Over time I’ve learned more about how to position a subject and how to use lighting to enhance my photographs.  My main subjects have wound up being animals and nature.  I think this is mainly because you can’t tell them what to do, it’s out of your control, and so it’s a challenge to capture your target.  But I love the challenge, the rewards leave me with a memory of the beauty I saw in one moment of time.
