THE
MOB IS OUR
PERSONAL BEHOLDER

What
a shame it is to be born under a lucky star...
I always thought, that jealousy was more a German trait (BTW, is it related to "lousy"?).
Just look at the rich & famous! They are supposed to show the public SOME image. Goes for Brando as well as for our own Prinz Ernst-August, called the hitman. He broke a cameramanīs nose about two or three years ago. Ernst-August is fighting it out (heīs not more loveable thru this, but at least heīs striking back, not giving a shit about his pr!); Brando is sitting it out since 100 years or so.
Both do have a way with the public, more or less.
But the mob creates its monsters and heroes!
You donīt have to get up with a certain talent, vision or just iron will! The mob is our personal beholder, and a moody one at that.
Steffi Graf and Boris Becker were the German idols of the ī80 and ī90. Idolized for good and bad. Becker had alway this "strong but stupid" image. Being the fighter he is, he didnīt care. Got married to a black actress (shocking), even got children! He still might be stupid, but heīs got character + willpower! The mob had to recognize this, but it didnīt like it at all! Steffi Graf, now what a nose! Ugly, shy, daughter of Peter, a "übervater" (thank you, Freud!). Cinderella! The same women, who cried out when some English football player cut off his hair, are hating her for "snatching" Agassi. Now you hear it everyday, that they are just that close to get seperated! Nice try! And my best wishes for the future!
The so called rainbow-press doesnīt get to the very core of things.
They donīt mind any talents, ideas, deeds, xpīs.
They are the hangmen.
Everyone, standing in the light of public curiosity (HAH!), is feeling the noose around his neck. Just try to tell them to get lost, out of your life...There they are again: FAMOUS LAST WORDS! Like, please donīt take a picture of my kids...
The public is the altar, celebs are the lambs. Like some ribs?
The worst thing is, people are buying this shit. Is it just my oppinion, that there should be a second point of view? Itīs so easy to hate somebody for the known "facts", isnīt it? I couldnīt care less! I donīt mind if itīs a celebrity or my friend or my neighbor, even if they got their new pool. I donīt want to hear it! And I definitely wonīt be satisfied with the lesser evil! From their mouth to my ear! I donīt need a relay station which is mixing up the facts.
The problem with words is, that you canīt leave anything out.
Try that for yourself - start with yes + no!
Oh yes, we have "Schadenfreude"! Look at this person. Oh, what a shame. I feel so sorry for him/her. Thereīs an old Amerindian saying:"Sit down on the banks of your river. Someday youīll see your worst enemy drifting along the stream. And what a beatifull corpse heīll be!" I like this attitude. Hey, why bother?
So if youīve got any talent, ideas, or you are just a plain genius - donīt believe the hype. Go out, do something! Just forget, that someone could mind! Theyīd better mind their own biz. You want it, you get it! How do I end this?! Everythingīs been said before, huh? How about minding my own biz here? As if someone might care...?
The B word is "brain"! You donīt have to depend on anyoneīs, you got you own.
