*whips head around at the feeling of someone's eyes on her and covers her heart with a sigh of relief* Oh hey :) You scared me for a second!
 
I'm Giddy. Well, not in the sense of actually being giddy. It's just a nickname. And how did I acquire that nickname you're going to ask. *drops eyes to floor and shakes head* Aye, this is really sad. But I'll share it with you because... you asked so nicely and to let you know exactly what kind of person I am.
 
I've been writing fiction for... oooh, about 5 / 6 years now. And, when I started out I needed a nickname that my character in my first fiction could get called. That character was based on me. So when it came time for me to get hosted, my best friend suggested I use that nickname in the fiction as my nickname for the site, and it's stuck ever since. I came up with my own nickname you guys! How low is that? *L*
 
But since then it's had many creations, the main one being 'Gidster', which I like a whole lot more because I didn't really come up with it :) *winks* Thanks Kitty!
 
Now, believe it or not, I'm the oldest [26] and maybe most level-headed judge here *L* Well, I'm not nearly as crazy as Cheeky or Nutter Butter, I like to leave the professionals to their work. It's an art form, and I'm not nearly as creative to pull it off like those two. :)
 
Now, how about a little background on me? Okay, here goes nothing :
 
I come from a broken home. I have no contact what-so-ever with my real father, I don't want any. I am the eldest of 4 children. I've made it through a lifetime of trials and tribulations and come through it stronger than most. I'm a strong character. I'm a little crazy sometimes, but I'm always supervised *L* I have 2 children of my own, who inspire me everyday. I have a wonderful husband, who puts up with too much shit from me. And, I'm ready to live happily ever after.
 
I love writing. It releases me from reality for a while and allows me to make anything possible. I can be anyone I want, doing anything I desire... writing is my sanity. It's built on life experiences, it's created from emotion and, hopefully, it's written so people can know exactly what I felt when writing it. Writing is my talent, and I love taking people into a different world while they're reading.
 
I love music. It's a part of my everyday life. Without it, I would just be a shell of my former self. I listen to everything from R&B, Soul, Motown, Pop and Urban to Rap, Hip Hop and Nu Metal. And, I'll dance to anything. *moves touche* Hey look at me, I have rhythm.
 
My favorite band are *NSYNC. And, if you need to ask why, I'll explain. Each of the five characters that make up the group are so different that each song is individual in it's own way. Each song presents a different emotion in me and they inspire me to write. Surely that's enough right? Well, not quite. I love JC for his energy and for his individuality [no matter how ridiculous he looks sometimes]. I love Justin for his perfection and for tolerance for the media [no matter how far they push it]. I love Lance for that voice of his and for being the first to admit he can't dance *L* I love Joey for never hiding that he appreciates all women and for being the first member to have a baby. And finally, I love Chris for always making me laugh... always... and for always being 'different'.
 
My friends are what help me make it through everyday, and I have some of the greatest. Kitty, M, Coll,  Am, Rose, Jason, Boo, Jamie, Nicola, Libby... to give you a few names. They're some of the greatest people God ever had the grace of bringing into my life. They pick me up when I'm feeling low. They help to remind me that I matter when I'm feeling sorry for myself. And when I'm being particularly silly they laugh with me, or should that be at me? *L* Either way, my friends are the best, and anyone would be lucky to have them.
 
And that's about it.
 
So, to sum up, I'm an over sized teenager with an ability to string words together so they make sense. I have rhythm. I talk a lot of shit sometimes. I'm inspired by anything and everything I'm surrounded by, and I have the bestest friends in the world
