421. Charles Pinckney HAYNIE was born on 12 Apr 1830 in McMinn County, Tennessee. He died on 27 Jun 1898 in Morrisville, Polk County, Missouri and was buried in Oakville Cemetery, Morrisville, Polk County, Missouri (Oakville Cemetery is located off Hwy 215 south of Morrisville, Missouri). Charles is identified in the probate court record of his father, William Haynie, on 10 February 1869.
Charles served in the civil war in the Alabama 15th and 56th Bn. Part. Rangers Company A. (Roster of Confederate Soldiers, p. 376)
In 1860 Federal Census, Charles Pinckney, age 30, was living at home with his parents and was farming. Charles and his family appear in the 1870 Federal Census for Center Twp, Greene County, Missouri. The listing includes: Pinkney age 40 born in Tennessee, wife Catherine age 28 born in Tennessee, and sons: Charles age 5, William age 3, Henry age 1, all born in Missouri. Elizabeth, Charles' mother, was living with the family at the time of the 1870 Federal Census; she gave her age as 79 born in North Carolina.
He was married to Catherine Louise CHRISMAN between 1860 and 1870. Catherine Louise CHRISMAN was born on 28 Nov 1841 in Tennessee. She died on 17 Jul 1914 in Morrisville, Polk County, Missouri and was buried in Oakville Cemetery, Morrisville, Polk County, Missouri.
Charles Pinckney HAYNIE and Catherine Louise CHRISMAN had the following children:
