St. Stephen's Parish Register: "Stephen Haynie son to George and Marget Haynie was born Novem 22, 1768". He died bet 15 Aug 1812 - 14 Jun 1813 in Wiccocomoco Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia. Stephen birth is recorded in the parish records of St. Stephens as "Stephen Haynie Son to George and Marget Haynie was born Novem 22, 1768. The will of Stephen is used to identify his brothers and sisters. Since Stephen's will list no children, either they had died before the will was written or he and Mary Ann had no children. Stephen is believed to be the youngest son of George and Marget Haynie, and the son that chose to carry on his fathers trade and occupation of carpentry. Stephen's will, recorded in Northumberland County, Virginia Record Book #19, 1811-1815, Page 400, is as follows:
