22. Samuel HAYNIE was born about 1715 in Northumberland County, Virginia and he died on 27 Jan 1771 in Somerset County, Maryland. Samuel was identified in the will of his father. He inherited "a piece of land joining to Richard Oldham's of about eighty acres." He is also named in the will of his mother, Elinor, wherein he is given two young negroes and a chest of drawers. Samuel, Judith and their children moved from Northumberland County to Somerset County, Maryland after 1760 and they settled along the Wicomic river, west of Salisbury.
He was married to Judith JAMES (daughter of William JAMES). Judith JAMES was born on 25 Sep 1725 in St. Mary's County, Maryland and she died on 27 May 1796.
Samuel HAYNIE and Judith JAMES had the following children:

child+75 iii. Lydia HAYNIE was born before 1760 in Northumberland County, Virginia. She married a MADDOX.
child+76 iv. Ezekiel HAYNIE M.D. was born 29 September 1760 in St. Stephen's Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia. He married Betsey BAYLEY.
child77 v. Martin Luther HAYNIE was born on 14 Jan 1763 in St. Stephen's Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia. He died about 1814. Martin Luther birth recorded in the parish records of St. Stephens, Northumberland County, Virginia. He died single in about 1814.
child78 vi. Mary HAYNIE was born in Northumberland County, Virginia and she died an infant
