7. Elizabeth HAYNIE was born about 1655 in Virginia and she died bet 24 May 1742 - 13 Jul 1742 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Elizabeth is identified in a deed of gift by her father, Capt. John Haynie, as one of his daughters (See notes under Capt. John Haynie). The gift was to remain in her father's possession until she reached sixteen or was married. (Northumberland County, Virginia, Record Book 14, 1658-1662, page 22) Elizabeth is also identified in the will of her grandfather, Nicholas Morris, as Eliz. Haney.
Elizabeth and her sister, Martha, were among the heirs of Elizabeth Newman who left cows to the two of them in her will. (Northumberland County, Virginia, Record Book 14, 1658-1662, page 22)
