8. Anne HAYNIE was born about 1657 in Virginia and she died before 2 Sep 1692. Anne is identified in the will of John Haynie, as Susanna Ware, and is believed to be an adopted daughter.
On 22 May 1696, Anne appears in a suit brought by Capt. John Haynie guardian of Thomas Harding Jr. (orphan of Thomas Harding Sr.) against her second husband, Luke Rowland; Anne who was deceased was the administrator of the estate of Thomas Harding Sr., her first husband (Order Book 4, page 728).
Anne married first Thomas HARDING Sr. (son of Thomas HARDING) born on 4 Sep 1664 in St. Stephen's Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia. It is most likely that Thomas' birth, found in the St. Stephens Register, is correct. The item which appears on page 61, headed "H", states: "Tho's Harding Son To Tho's Born Sep'r 4, 1664". He died before Sep 1691 in Northumberland County, Virginia.
Anne HAYNIE and Thomas HARDING Sr. had the following children:

34 ii. William HARDING was born on 15 Feb 1690 in St. Stephen's Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia. It is most likely that William's birth, found in the St. Stephens Register, is correct. The item which appears on page 61, headed "H", states: "Wm Harding Son To Tho's Born Feb 15, 1690".
