3. Anthony HAYNIE was born about 1651 in Northumberland County, Virginia and he died bet 31 Jan 1709 - 21 Jun 1709/10 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Anthony is identified as the brother of John Haynie in a court record on 31 January 1709/1710 (Northumberland County, Virginia, Record Book 17, 1706-1720, p. 107) and he appears quite frequently in the court records of Northumberland County between about 1702 and 1710.

(Northumberland County, Virginia, Patent Book 2, p. 170)Anthony's will was dated 31 January 1709 and probated at court on 21 June 1709/10. The original will having been burned it was re-recorded on 21 January 1711. The copy was presented to the Court by Mr. George Ball who, with Capt. Richard Ball and Hancock Nicholls, made oath in court that the same is a true and " . . . ye original Record being burned, the sd. copy is by the Court approved . . .". On 4 December 1702, Anthony witnessed the will of Patrick Pollick (Northumberland County, Virginia, Record Book 17, p. 235).

Anthony Hayney of Northumberland Co. possesses 75 acs. conveyed to John Haynie, his father who gave same to Anthony. Grant to Anthony Hayney adj. where James Nipper formerly lived. 17 Sept 1707. On 21 May 1707, Anthony proved the will of Thomas Ingram, written on 12 October 1700 and witnessed by Anthony (Northumberland County, Virginia Record Book 17, p. 21).
"I give unto my loving wife Sarah Haynie, the daughter of my father-in-law John Harris, the hundred acres of land the sd. Harris gave unto me by deed of sale &c., to her and the heirs of her body &c. . . . Unto my wife Sarah Haynie and my daughter Grace Ball and their heirs &c. all the land or lands belonging unto me Except one Moyety of or half of the land I have Joyning on the land of Coll. Peter Hack, the which Excepted Moyety I give unto my brother John Haynie &c. Provided my brother John pay an Equall part of the charge with my wife and daughter from the Date of the Deed of the sd. land to me and of what charge they shall be att untill they are possessed of it . . . if brother John refuse, sd. land to wife and daughter to be equally divided between them . . . my wife and daughter Grace Ball Exors."Anthony was married to Sarah HARRIS (daughter of John HARRIS and Grace ????) about 1680 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Sarah HARRIS was born about 1660 in Virginia and she died bet 10 May 1746 - 10 Jul 1749 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Anthony Haynie, husband of Sarah, appeared in court, Northumberland County, on 31 January 1709/10 and stated about Sarah: "she is the Daughter of my father in Law John Harris" (Northumberland County Record Book 17, page 107).

Grandaughter Sarah Dameron: use of negro girl Betty during her natural life, and after her death to my grandaughter Grace Dameron. Also my bed, bolster, and furniture belonging to said bed.
Daughter Grace Ball: the use of negro woman Hannah during her natural life, and after her death to my four grandsons vizt: George, David, Richard, and Joseph Ball.
Grandaughter Sarah Dameron: four hundred pounds of tobacco a year for ten years (if it should please God she should live so long), to be paid by my daughter Grace Ball. Also my iron bound chest, my large bible, and common prayer book.
Daughter Grace Ball: all my negroes not given.
Five grandsons John, George, David, Richard, and Joseph Ball: the rest of my estate, to be divided equally between them.
