He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Greene County, Missouri beside his wife, Arvia (Salts)(Hitt) Embry (Section 3, Row 3).
After Harold's death in 1933, Arvia remarried. Her second husband was Glenn Embrey, date unknown, and they moved to Mountain View, Missouri where they lived until Glenn retired from the Postal Service. On retirement, Glenn and Arvia moved to Port Charlotte, Florida where they lived until their deaths. Glenn Embrey was buried next to his first wife in Green Lawn Cemetary in the Springfield area.
