and implementing a JavaScript browser-based application for data entry of annuities. The application
bridged three different legacy systems, integrating logic from each system. My tasks included:
- Assisting with development of Oracle database
- Translating business requirements for a team of 6 programmers
- Leading daily status meetings
- Facilitating meetings with executive management
- Resolving issues within business requirements

Projects- New Business Re-engineering Analysis
- Led a team of 2 CSC junior business analysts and 25 client business users/specialists through
a business process re-engineering methodology to improve processing efficiencies, automate decisions
and improve processing accuracy. My tasks included:
- Leading and facilitating 18 workshops for 25 plus business users and management.
- Developing "as is" and "to be" business process flow diagrams

- Member of testing team, performing system, unit, and formal testing for annuity tracking software. My tasks included:
- Developing a unit and formal test matrix
- Escalating issues to appropriate resource
- Verifying actual results versus expected results
- Performing team lead responsibilities in the absence of the team lead
- Completed both projects on time and under budget. My account manager and client were so pleased with my work that I was asked to be part of the re-engineering project team identified in the project above.
Consultant- Oracle Developer
Client: City of Minneapolis, project location- Minneapolis, MN, 6/99-10/99
Projects- Office of the Assessor Conversion
- Member of the conversion team. This project was to convert the city asset tracking software
from a Unisys LINC Code system to a Visual Basic/Oracle Client Server system. My tasks included:
- Developing Oracle tables
- Translating LINC Code into requirements and PL/SQL code
- Producing PL/SQL code for data manipulation and data warehouse
- Running system and unit tests, verifying results, and document and resolving issues.
- Using UNIX, FTP, and SQL Loader to perform data transfers, data manipulation.
Consultant- Y2k Analyst
Client: Weyerhaeuser Canada - Dryden Operations, project location- Dryden,
Ontario and Weyerhaeuser, project location - Valliant, OK, 10/98- 6/99
Projects- Y2k Readiness
- This project was to ensure all of the software used at this location was Y2k compliant. My tasks included:
- Developing a unit and formal test matrix.
- Overseeing 10 CSC and client testers in performing testing for 30 client/server applications
- Verifying expected results to actual results, and documenting and resolving issues.
- Coordinating with outside vendors to install necessary service packs
- Responsible for developing a tracking database and escalating issues upwards
- Runnning UNIX test cycles
