Brad Taylor is the oldest son of Tim and Jill. He is currently a senior at Lakeside High. Brad usually has one of these three things on his mind: girls, cars, and soccer. He has been recruited by a British soccer team owner. While Tim was doing Tool Time at the house, Brad injured his knee. For awhile, it looked like he might not play soccer again. Fortunatly, the knee healed, and he earned a scholarship to UCLA.
If Brad is not thinking soccer, it's probably girls. His first girlfriend was Jennifer. (Season Two.) They broke up when Jennifer wouldn't let him copy her math homework anymore.
Brad's next girlfriend was Ashley. They introduced Randy to his first girlfriend, Beth. Brad and Ashley broke up after about half a season or so.
Brad's third girlfriend was Angela. They were together two seasons, but broke up when she fell for someone else.
Brad's fourth girlfriend is Samantha, whom Brad actually proposed marriage to. And they were engaged until Tim and Jill used reverse psychology to freak him out and they slowed down. Samantha is a junior in college.
Brad has always been Tim's Number One helper on the hot rods. He helped most often on Tim's first one, when he was younger. This is where Tim and Brad have most of their more serious talks.
When the boys were younger, Brad was often less intelligent than Randy, who was always quick to point it out. They also enjoyed ganging up against Mark.
