Due to GG's recent surge in popularity, this LP could no longer remain a forgotten classic. A true classic it proves to be as The JABBERS, the band from Manchester, NH, Boston, MA & Vermont, crank out some ot the best music 1977-79 had to offer. The Jabbers had many members and many non band members who appeared on this album, all of which are too numerous to mention. The Jabbers who toured with GG throughout the eastern United States with the material contained here on this LP were; GG Allin - vocals, Alan Chapple - bass, Rob Basso - guitar, Chris (Chaos) Lamy - guitar, Zack Spleenis - guitar and Steve L - drums.
As you will witness here, the presence of GG Allin can best be described as pure raw energy. In those earlier days GG was known as the Madman of Manchester for his infamous, shocking and violent stage antics. GG Allin's path of clubs and cities he is or was banned in are documented throughout the country and probably are still a reality in your town. Arrests and banning compiled with infrequent pay were the reasons for the band's numerous members and eventual demise. On 4/8/84 the band played their final show. Although Zack & Al joined GG for the Live Fast, Die Fast EP, the name GG ALLIN & The JABBERS is just a fond memory. The legend of GG Allin still goes on.
