"Music To Make Your Ears Hurt"

untitled

Congratulations, you've just picked up on the trend setters of independent music, Black & Blue Recording Artists. My good friend and partner-in-crime Larry Evilelf has compiled these recordings and we proudly present "Music To Make Your Ears Hurt".

We start off with our resident Good Ol' Boys Jesse Braintre with Neil and Robert T. Hogg. This lil' ditty is called "Hogg Rustlin" and it is just one of the unique C&W songs featured on this years' debut release "Working For Yankee Money".

Next off we turn our attention to Peoria, Illinois and their favorite sons Bloody Mess And The Scabs. The cut "Logic Is Conformity" is just a sample of what's to come this year from Bloody, Ugly, Ted, Fish, and Gabby Scab.

Just when you thought Diaper Rock was only a fad, Algae and Playpen present "Mother Goose Me", Algae Afterbirth is the Baby Elvis, and along with his band Playpen show you your favorite nursery rhymes with a new flair. This is one of the cuts from the upcoming "Diaper Revolution" album slated for summer or fall. Following it is the Reggae hit "Baby Rasta" also by Algae and Playpen.

Gothic New Age Speed Metal is what the four men in Northwinds bring to you with intensity. "Banging In The Morgue" is just one of the ballsy tunes you'll hear on the new release "Sleep With Evil". Steve (the Rattler) Statlin provides the vocals, David Stein gives you keyboards, backing vocals and commanding guitar. Terrance Brown is the bass guitar and John Radcliffe pounds the drums with authority. Call the Northwinds Hotline at (201) 449-1909 for fan info and tour dates.

Next up is the man, the legend, the outlaw, GG Allin "Blood For You" is just one of the classic tunes on this years' most important album "GG Allin's Doctrine Of Mayhem" available now!! So don't wimp out, buy it before 1990 is over. This year GG Allin rules and the Doctrine is law.

Our attention now shifts to the farmlands of Pennsylvania and the pro-aggressive Power Metalists Leviathen. The song is "I Love To Kill" and this is only a sample of what 1990 will bring from Joe Stumer, Jay Bybee and Jim Vacca. Keep your eyes and ears open for these guys and the "Tales In Power" album out later this year.

Now we turn to our founder and late friend Richard Yorun who is more well known as Dick Urine. The song "It's So Easy" is just one of the great tunes on "The Lost Dick Urine Tapes", a real treasure of an album that most true believers allready own. What's your excuse?

London, England is our next stop as we hear Celia Hemken and her boys perform "Obscurity" and "Spider Girl". The band is Blue Nouveaux and the debut album "Darkness In Me" scheduled for spring release is sure to trun the jazz world Black & Blue.

Sexy, talented and red hot The Cedar Street Sluts present "No One Comes For Free" and "In This Room" off the already world renowned debut album "Songs By Working Girls". This group of young women and their band will curl your short hairs with a provocative slut rock sound I am so proud of.

Campbell, California has given us Puzzleview. Jeff Rippin, Dave Lund, Paul Dorato, Jerry Heeschen and Dennis Holseybrook give us the straight ahead rock tunes "Guns Don't Argue" and "Blow My Mind". Don't worry, there's more where that came from. Contract negotiations are still in the works and then it's lights on as these guys go from the Bay area's best to tops in the Black & Blue scheme of things.

Last and certainly not least is Holly Would. The Cedar Street Slut is busy in the studio recording her solo album. "Rat Tails" is the title cut from this upcoming release and it's sure to be a big hit. Also, Holly does "Cocktails" which is on the lp as well.

Then we go back to mastermine Richard Yorun and his rendition of Diarrhea Blues.

Is there more? Well, not on this album, but there's always more coming from us as we plot and plan our place in the independent, non-conforming, underground world of music.
