The GG Allin SuperSite Liner Notes

Res-Erected

Merle Allin's Thoughts

Finally a new live GG Allin recording that captures a time period that has never been heard on CD other than its original studio version. It's November 4th, 1987, and the Lismar Lounge is packed with every degenerate on the Lower East Side in anticipation of the one time only performance of GG Allin and The Holymen (The first NYC show since the infamous Cat Club gig). The sound is raw and powerfuland GG's vocals can be heard very clearly. What more could you ask for?

During this time GG was beginning to earn a reputation that would separate him from all other performers and achieve his legendary status as The King of the Rock N' Roll Underground.

Also included are the tracks from a rare GG and The Murder Junkies rehearsal with Dee Dee Ramone playing guitar from November of 1991. Dee Dee left the band shortly after this recording and it has never been released until now. In addition there is a Destroy TV interview with GG and I, and never before seen photos, making this CD one that will surely become a classic, and would give GG a Res-Erection.
