Portfolio - Writings
In my spare time, I often enjoy doing some personal writing.
Some of these have been published, and I hope to be real author some
day. This small offering here is to give an example of some of my creative
talents. I'll post more of my works over time as I work up the nerve
to do it. I hope you enjoy.

Description: I've always been rather proud of this poem. It's
one of my first quality works and I've resubmitted it various
times over the years. It's always received respect, which can
be rather amusing to me at times because I was just a punk in
high school when I wrote it.

Description: This is one little story that I think I'll always
enjoy. It started off as an exercise in form: to see how much
of a story could be told without actually having any action. I
wanted to take a single moment and see if I could stretch it out
into an eternity. My original intent was to create something much
longer than this, but after a short number of paragraphs, I realized
that the piece was already perfect. To add any more would be to
spoil it.

Description: They say that art is theft and that imitation is
the sincerest form of flatery, so the best lines of this poem
would probably be artful flattery or some such thing. Just read
it. You'll enjoy it

The City, Naked |

Description: This is an excerpt from the beginning of an extended
work of mine. I've sketched out the skeleton of the work, and
this first chapter is one of the few sections that has been fleshed
out. It's a little edgy and provocative, but I've had good reactions
from the reviewers I've had.
