This one will contain some spoilers, too, like the Akio page. Just warning ya :) Dios is the prince that lives in the spinning castle above the dueling arena. Whenever Utena duels, he comes down from his castle and joins his spirit with hers, giving her the power to vanquish anyone who duels her. He is also the prince that rescued Utena from despair when she was little. There isn't going to be much about Dios on this page, because the big spoilers all involve him. Anyway, one strange thing I've noticed about Dios is that his appearance changes a lot. Sometimes, he looks like he's about eleven, and sometimes, he looks a lot older. His voice changes too. See the differences in the three pictures I have of him. An interesting bit of information is that when Dios comes down to posess Utena, his eyes are closed... at least, until the first episode where anyone is shown the Ends of the World (it happens to be Saionji) and the Sword of Dios disappears during the duel. Anthy pulls the sword out of Utena this time, and when Dios comes down, his eyes are open. It's strange, and symbolic, like just about everything else in this show.
