It's me! Sorta. Well, it's me if I were a cat. And yes, this is the expression I wear 90% of the time ^_^

I'll keep this brief, if that's possible ;) If you've read my fanfics (well, two of them) you know that my name is Katie. But if you've corrosponded with me in e-mail or read my fanfic other places, you probably know me as Elaby. Elaby (Gathen) is a faerie name, one that I guess you use to summon faeries or hold power over them... I dunno if it's even female ;) And then there are those in my Utena RPG who know me as Fuyume the umbrella-toting introvert, and even the select few from Redwall Sim 2 who still refer to me as Peasie ;) I'm not sure if any of those even exist anymore. You'll find pictures of Fuyume on my Utena Fanart page, and eventually I will draw Peasie again... she's a mouse.

Anyway, I got into anime about... *counts* four summers ago? That sounds right. Summer of 1996, that'd make it. Anyway, I have always loved Japanese animation, I've just never known that it was Japanese animation. I just referred to it as "that style of drawing I love." But I found out, thanks to Animerica magazine, and my first ever real anime (that I spent money on ;) ) was The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. I got into Evangelion after that, and some Slayers, and Pokémon, of course (free anime! Free anime!) and then, finally, on Chrismas 1999 I got the first Utena tape. Watched it that night, and had the rest within three weeks ^_^ (with some help from my mother, of course, who I have thoroughly corrupted by introducing the wonders of Akio (and, more appropriately for her, Touga.) Heh.) By February vacation, we had the entire series in fansubs and thank Kami-sama I didn't have school that week. And so it began.

I created this web page after I had seen the first 13 episodes, but I didn't upload it until I had seen the whole thing. I was seventeen at that point, and in eleventh grade (that you could tell from my super-crappy first fanfic). I'm older now, of course, but I think if I ever write myself into a fic again, I'll probably stay that age. Just so I can say I'm in the same class as Saionji and Touga ;)

My other interests include...

Sailor Moon. Drool. I love this show so much... I have the entire thing except for the Doom Tree series in Japanese, and I even watch the evil DIC dub every Saturday on Fox. I don't get the Cartoon Network (*cries*).

As for things that don't have to do with anime, I love The X-Files (well, I used to. I still do, marginally...), furry stuff (anthropomorphic animals, although all I do in that respect is Redwall stuff. And our Redwall sim is far removed from Brian Jacques' Redwall ;) ), anything that has to do with Celtic folklore (urisks and bean sidh and fuaths, oh my!), and just about anything that doesn't take place now. Like Robin Hood. I love Robin Hood with a passion. Future stuff is good, too, like Star Trek... I also like to draw (duh), write (fiction is our friend!), and act. But I don't get to do much of the latter very often anymore. I make up for that by RPing as much as I can, even though I don't know squat about technical RPGs... I have little interest in D&D sorta things. The only thing I love about AOL is my message boards, and I love those unconditionally. RPing through posts is the best way, I think ^_^

So, that's me. Zoi. If you want to reach me, you can e-mail me at elaby_moon@yahoo.com And in case you've never been to my other pages, my homepage is here.
